we went looking for bears this afternoon and found over 20! including 6 cubs this playful pair (possibly mating?) splashing around in the water started our adventure off on a high note and it just got better and better from there!

pick your berries before the rain hits tonight (yay for the salmon)! the sun made the berries really happy the last few days. found a lot of big and sweet raspberries, salmonberries, strawberries, and thimbleberries when i check berries this morning, there was mold on some from the fog/dew
