The 3 main things I’m on here for are: Ukraine, climate change and THFC. It’s pretty f’ing depressing at the moment!

Another good read from @theatlantic.com to help us try and make sense of the whirlwind first month of Trump’s second Presidency. The democrats are nowhere to be seen and this at least offers some starting points on where they should focus their message: Trump’s corruption. Should be plenty of fodder

Bergvall is only 19, first season in the PL. What a baller! Look forward to seeing what he can become in the next few years! #coys #thfc

@restispoliticsus.bsky.social is Patel the most dangerous of all the appointments? Trump has captured congress, controls the media narrative, owns the Oligarchs a la Putin, and now will be free to pursue any domestic adversaries and block investigations into his allies.

Hybrid warfare in Europe will likely ramp up now given Russia’s depleted military cannot carry out overwhelming conventional operations. If Trump is endorsing Putin’s war crimes, there’s no way he will hold him to account for grey zone activity. www.bbc.co.uk/news/resourc...

Interesting article. A key point here is about the possible US strategy to peel Russia away from China. David Sachs has been making these noises on the All-In Podcast for a few years now and it’s probably the position of others in MAGA. It will come at a cost which Trump is willing to pay: Europe

As a Chinese dissident artist i think this is a Great cartoon and very appropriate to reference the tank man from 1989 giving Elon's Shanghai super Tesla factory and his damage to America.

We have no other choice but to rapidly rebuild the defense industry in Europe. I have 2 pre-teen kids and I live in Eastern Europe. The thought of them having to fight a frontline war with Russia in the coming decades fills me with horror. The only way to avoid this is for every European country 1/x

As a journalist who covers extremism at the local level, I think it’s a mistake to view Trump’s Napoleonic statement as solely about presidential power. Consider if it’s interpreted as a wink and a nod for any extremist to act outside the law to “save” the country as they see fit

After this week’s rug pull by MAGA, even more reason why former US allies cannot trust this administration with sensitive information. US’s true enemies will be running circles around their intelligence agencies once DOGE has gutted them. The US has isolated true friends when they need them the most
