2,300 registered participants, 350 panels, four intense days. After months of prep, another conference is behind me. This time not as a speaker, but on the local organizing committee, coordinating 45 volunteers. Lesson learned? No task is too big if you are a part of a great team #ecprgc26

Unprecedented reshuffle at the top of CCP leadership. Shi Taifeng (b. 1956) and Li Ganjie (b. 1964) have swapped positions. Shi now leads the powerful Organization Department, while Li takes charge of the less influential United Front Work Department. A major shift worth watching closely.

Miao Hua from the Central Military Commission is under investigation. According to FT, Minister Dong Jun is also under investigation, as are his two predecessors. We are seeing the biggest military shake-up since the purge of Lin Biao's followers during the Cultural Revolution.
