I finally saw the first two Indy movies a few years later. The end of Raiders was too much for me, but the heart getting ripped out somehow wasn’t. I dunno, I’m weird! I saw the Alien movies when I was 11 and they didn’t scare me, but I saw Poltergeist a few months after and was scared shitless.

lmao sometimes feels like tech people are in kindergarten tier English class!!!! We are currently paying *crazy money* for these people to realise something humanities grads understand and can wield expertly for less than the price of this bad software

resonated with me. As someone still experimenting and learning with Al filmmaking, I'm finding that generating something visually impressive is becoming easier, but creating something that actually makes people feel something is the real challenge.

There’s a moment in it when the villain uses AI to mimic Gadot’s voice and I couldn’t tell if it was actually AI or if Gadot recorded the lines herself because either way it would sound equally flat and lifeless.

Literally the only thing The Runner has going for it is the length. It’s short, and it’s the kind of movie where the logic of it falls apart as you’re watching. It’s all around quite bad and thus worth of Gal Gadot’s talents.

#LastFourWatched Starting off my annual month long “Horror Movie I’ve Never Seen Each Night” October marathon with Backrooms was a good choice. It really lived up to the hype. And Creature From The Black Lagoon lived up to the Art Adams adaptation.
