The best cure for heartbreak is to move to CT to become the general manager of the UConn women’s basketball team, in my opinion.

Speaking for myself, it's impossible for me to care about the inconvenience of the adults who worked so hard for so long to keep money out of the hands of the players. They should have fought for a better system years ago, but they were happy getting paid instead. Coaches helped create this.

For as much attention (deserved!) that Alex Karaban got for being a four-year player at the same school and winning two rings, it's kinda funny that Solo Ball could do that same thing next year and would almost certainly beat Karaban's new three-pointer record in the process.

Name one good reason why we shouldn't eliminate the personal foul in college basketball.

I mean, just give me the best C and PF on the board. Flory and Sherrell today, I guess? There will be appox. 4,000 new names in there tomorrow. I trust Hurley to shop wisely.

Christian Bliss from Delaware is probably going to be my new obsession, though I freely acknowledge backup PG is (at best) third on the priority list.

So many good players in the portal already. Love the portal. The portal is good, wise.

I meant in the general sense. They got turbo-fucked all game

010

That was some extraordinary effort by UConn. Amazing season. If not for a bad whistle and cold shooting, they could’ve won it, despite Michigan clearly being the better team.

The balls are too bouncy.

Always hard for the big east teams that play under different rules — often moment by moment. Six fouls was a mess when they tried it, albeit last century.

every time uconn or michigan scores a bucket they are permitted to take one piece of gravel out of the basketball

Watching Stewart discover the tournament basketballs tonight has not been a pleasant experience.

You’d have to make the team fouls punishing enough to guard against that — it’s why 6 fouls doesn’t work. I’m not advocating fouling, just players being on the court.

James Breeding has $100k on Jacob Furphy over 0.5 minutes

it is true. this is why we need to take power away from him.

Only count team fouls. Start one-and-ones and two-shots earlier, if you need to. Add some sort of other escalating penalty after a certain number of team fouls (12? 15?). But don't let a 60 year-old dentist take star players off the television. I've never been more right about anything.

We don’t need personal fouls. The best players should be on the court in the national championship game. What a self-defeating sport.

So does that make Bob Sr. Brad Underwood’s grandfather?

Big time performance that ruled

Val is communicating to the refs somehow. Investigate.

The basketballs are behaving normally

for the record this means i walked a mile and had 19 whiskeys

Have come up with a brilliant way to manage the stress of watching UConn and its whiskey on the treadmill.

I think UConn played so bad that I can't legally talk about this, but it's probably not a coincidence that no one on any of the best teams can shoot all of a sudden. Combined 14-49 (28.6%) from three. Texas: 2-9 UCLA: 4-13 USC: 2-6 UConn: 6-21 Use normal basketballs!

skilled in a way that should work in the conference season but doesn't help with the athleticism issues that the other elite teams in the sport have been consistently exploiting for years

020

I unironically think they should go indy like notre dame football

020

Williams was awful tonight, but I would call her serviceable. I think athleticism and size in the guard/wing spots is more of an issue generally

210

Yea, you literally have to when no one in the league can field a team

110

UConn needs out of the Big East for a lot of reasons, but WBB going entirely unchallenged every conference game is definitely one of them. They were completely overwhelmed by the moment tonight. Hard to watch an entire team and coaching staff Knoblauch simultaneously. Total collapse.
