I was just at multiple conferences in multiple countries; it's so apparent that EVERYONE is processing their grief around AI. bradfrost.com/blog/post/gr... Also apparent is a healthy way of processing it is to come together & discuss it with vulnerability and nuance. This is what community is for.

Loved hearing @bradfrost.com compare AI adoption with the stages of grief on @whiskey.fm. Definitely went through them in the past 9 months. Still somewhat reluctant, begrudging acceptance.

I thought about dropping an addendum into my last post to say just how overwhelmed I am, in the best possible way, by the way all of you in the front-end community have shown up to show support, both for me and for CSS-Tricks. I started to do that but then felt a new post...

Dark Mode Toggles Should be a Browser Feature
When implementing Dark Mode and ways to toggle it, developers currently need to duplicate code and roll their own toggle implementation. What if, instead, browsers would take care of all that?

More context on this #Artemis II image: * This is the night side, lit by moonlight. You can see city lights in Spain & Portugal, & a sliver of day at lower right * The Sun is entirely behind Earth, which makes it a kind of solar eclipse, but w/ Earth doing the eclipsing instead of the Moon: ☀️🌍🚀🌕
A full disc image of Earth, as seen from the Orion Crew Module. The planet is a pale blue, swirling with white clouds and glowing slightly lighter blue in place from reflected light. At lower left, a large brown landmass is Africa, with Spain and Portugal with twinkling lights where the planet curves. At top right, auroras glow in a thin green glow, just barely separated from the planet's surface. Earth is set against the black of space (pic: NASA/R.Wiseman)
