This will necessitate opposing the Trump-Netanyahu alliance. In the past we have appeased the US in return for its military support for Nato, but Trump's actions demonstrate that he cannot be trusted even by longstanding allies of the US. We should not be coerced into betraying the Palestinians by any promises or threats he might make.
