Yeah, getting myself to do it has been a struggle, so I feel you… The ol’ art morbs!! I hope we’re all free of them soon and that we can draw things we’re happy with.

Solis is simultaneously resigned to his fate, determined to get a little silly with it, and prepared to spite his Saint in the pettiest ways he can think of. What's Saint Solis going to do, kill him??????

120

thisintermezzo art alt @adelaides-hall.bsky.social · 09/10/2026

Apostle Solis sometimes uses too many exclamation marks when he writes personal notes and I think this would go like Saint Solis: Stop using those things. I am no longer asking. Apostle Solis: No!!!!! (::

CRASHES THROUGH THE WALL I've said this already, but this c/0mm type rules and you did such a great job!! The variety is so fun! The accessorizing is top-notch!!! I'm also super impressed by how consistently you manage to make color palettes that feel like part of the character's wardrobe -

Mom. [OCs]

Sketch of the poster’s OCs. Baby River rests peacefully on his mom’s shoulder. His mom is facing away from the viewer as she holds him. The shading is a warm gold.

Sketch of the poster’s OC, Yue Zhihao, a cultivator. She has a neutral expression and is wearing tidy robes. Her long hair is tied back. There is a lotus mark on her forehead.

Another thing I have fun with wrt Saint Solis is he's so bad at being kind because his social skills are abysmal. He has a point in Astra where he fumblingly tries to praise his Apostle, fails to convey this whatsoever, and then immediately gives up. Lmao.

I finally get to see the perfect version of me / The only problem happens to be it’s not actually me [OCs]

Drawing of the poster’s OCs in greyscale. Apostle Solis stands in the foreground, talking to people out of frame. He’s smiling and engaged and looks casual. A distance behind him, Saint Solis stands with both sets of arms crossed, frowning as he wordlessly observes. He has not a hair out of place and there’s a stylized saint halo around his head like the ones seen in religious art.

He's always angry with Zihrun and refusing his attention, but would be bitterly jealous if Zihrun turned to someone else instead. Saint Solis feels irritably resigned to no one caring what he wants or needs, but he doesn't want to figure out those things, either.

020

thisintermezzo art alt @adelaides-hall.bsky.social · 29/09/2026

Saint Solis doesn't know what he wants. His clone being nothing like him is aggravating, but his clone being just like him would be grounds for total mistrust. He wants to kill his clone for being embarrassing and irreverent, but comes apart over losing him.
