i think something got messed up in my baked light data (probes, specifically), and all probes past a certain point on the X axis were corrupted, resulting in some flavor of shader error and this is what blending a normal probe with a corrupted one looks like? but i don't actually know for sure

this happens to me on 2023.2-6.6 (so your version is in that range) the current suspicion is that this was caused by a recent Windows 11 update i am not making any of the classic input processing mistakes, either godot / unreal work just fine, too! sigh
