Re: the move away from swipe-to-complete. I'm sad to see it go, I loved the build up and reward of striking an item off your list, but SwiftUI can battle when you have gestures across multiple axes. This lead to longer lists "feeling stuck" when trying to scroll.

Shipped a little update to Twodos this morning: ✅ Complete tasks with a tap. The swipe-to-complete gesture has been removed (RIP) 📱 Widgets got an overhaul, more items visible per widget, with the Medium widget now showing both Sooner and Later lists side-by side. apps.apple.com/ca/app/twodo...

‎Twodos - Simple Todos

‎A delightfully simple todo app that respects your focus and privacy. There are no due dates, reminders, or push notifications. JUST TWO LISTS One screen, two lists:

This got decent traction (I think?), but zero outreach. That's totally fine, but I just tweeted something similar and have multiple DMs going within minutes.

I haven't touched meat in ~15 years, but every single time my wife brings biltong home I seriously re-evaluate my life decisions.

Oh 100%, ours are in the walls too, but through smurf pipes.

Absolutely unfathomable to me that the Samsung Frame connect cable isn’t in-wall rated. The entire point of that tv is to not have visible cabling.

Did you just nuke your presence there? Or just not posting?

Well, let's test the waters. I have limited availability for an iOS app icon. If you're building an app and want to work together, let me know. You can see some of my work here - adamwhitcroft.com

Because it generates all of my freelance income, and has found me the last 3 full time jobs. I have a decent following, and it’s very valuable to me… unfortunately.

I’m finding it increasingly difficult to open twitter, it more often than not it just leaves me feeling anxious and upset about what’s going on.

"Thoroughly comment this view using MARK and /// notation" saves a whole lot of time.

It could be a paywall, or a screen you navigate to to upgrade to a higher tier (Flighty is good example here as it's not a paywall as such).

Thanks so much! If you enjoy it, please feel free to give it a 5 star rating and positive review; it goes a long way for an indie dev!

✨ New app icon for ABY Journal. Dabby and Peijia wanted a soft ethereal thought bubble, and I think we landed on something good! abyjournal.app

Looking for examples of great app upsell screens. Things like the Flighty “Pro” screen.

A lot of indie apps are having a blast on Bluesky, and we'd love more of our friends and fans to join the party. So we came up with a fun idea: a giveaway! #IndieSky www.lux.camera/indiesky-on-...

These little apps are all a labor of love, packed with delightful interactions, sound and haptic design. Designed and built by me with privacy top of mind. If you’re using one or more, a 5 star rating and positive review really helps with discovery.
