Time for a new pinned post I reckon…my last four builds…a bit of variety helps the mojo I guess 🤷‍♂️✊

Cheers and the same place it’s gone for the fifty years this kit has been in production! Amazing really…I do feel old Tamiya kits are the perfect foil for a bit of tarting up…👍

I have had enough of stowage for the next little while…🤯😊🍻

Sometimes starting a new build reminds me of those parties back in the day when you’d push all the tables and chairs back to the walls…except with pots of paint… #ItaliaGB

I had to look up the translation…and thanks! 🍻😊👍

Adam Watkinson @adamwatkinson1.bsky.social · 7h

Yup…although a stowaway might have been fun too…🤷‍♂️👍

Cheers…there’s something quite nice about injecting a little more life into a very old kit…👍

All done I think…I made a one week build take three weeks but there you go…🙄😊

Just checked. It’s one big old lump of resin…👍

Adam Watkinson @adamwatkinson1.bsky.social · 14h

I believe this one is a single lump but haven’t looked yet…the last one was separate pieces.

Adam Watkinson @adamwatkinson1.bsky.social · 12/10/2026

I have no idea what it is…thought it may be a case for the sun compass…🤷‍♂️💥

Adam Watkinson @adamwatkinson1.bsky.social · 12/10/2026

As usual I have no idea what is going on here but I like it…🤷‍♂️👍

Adam Watkinson @adamwatkinson1.bsky.social · 12/10/2026

Nearly done now…jeez I have made a simple build into a bit of a PITA but I do have form for this perhaps…reached the ‘need this off my bench’ stage…well about a week ago tbh…🙄

It’s quite a nice way to make these pretty ancient Tamiya kits sing a little more brightly but yeah it does take an age to do…although I think this one has one big lump of resin that fills the rear of the truck…I haven’t even looked yet…🤷‍♂️
