I just rewatched this movie for the first time in at least a decade, mostly to see if my big dog would react to it like he went nuts for Flow. He didn't, but damn if this movie isn't one of Disney's best!

I have often wondered if those motion lines were added by the editor and production department to give some motion to the cover.

Or, it’s an updated Pac-Man game and the four ghosts are John, Paul, George, and Ringo.

Any of the thousands upon thousands of people who’ve had loved ones killed by guns in this country could have written this essay.

I asked her how she happened to know anything about this movie, and she said, of course she knew everything. She was Mort Weisinger’s daughter.

Ha ha! Crazy related story - we had a bunch of people over at our house in NJ around 2005. Mostly local writers. People started asking me, a DC staffer, what I knew about the upcoming Superman movie. I said I didn’t know anything, and a woman entered the room and said she knew all about it.

I treasured these books too. The bottom line was the stories about the creators were at least as fascinating as the Comics themselves if not more so. And you know the legend that Steranko sat down and drew those covers in an afternoon each, right?

Maybe Death was wearing a trenchcoat in the story? Pretty silly either way.

Oh my God, I apologize. That came out wrong. Stupid AutoCorrect fixed it wrong. What I meant to say is, do you think HE can follow Lego directions?

At the time I liked Kirby taking over for Robbins way better than Robbins taking over for Buscema.

I was just thinking...there should be an intercompany comics crossover story called "There Is No Hulk in Crime Alley!"

Yes, most presidents are only interested in initiatives that can be completed in their current term so they get the credit for it.

This is not one of their better known efforts, but I adore the Firesign Theater. Here's one of their best: www.youtube.com/watch?v=RwG5... - it's considered the gateway drug.

...today on his "News from ME" blog, in a post about a Stan Lee documentary, Evanier mentions "I have a book coming out next year about Jack Kirby." Could this be the big Kirby biography we've all been waiting for? Hmm? Could it? Fingers crossed!

...in 2020, and obviously that didn't happen. I will keep waiting. 3 - Mark Evanier's biography of Jack Kirby, which was mentioned many years ago. Not "Kirby: King of Comics" – great though that book is, the book I'm talking about is supposed to be more of a full biography. Well...

...although I have a theory that like a couple of his earlier books, he's writing the final two together and will split the manuscript later. 2 - "The Beatles - All These Years Book 2," by Mark Lewisohn. It's been 13 years on this one; at one point the author said it would be ready...

There are three books that have been promised which I can't wait to read. About twice a year I check around to see if there's any news of them. They are: 1 - "The Winds of Winter," George R.R. Martin's penultimate "A Song of Fire and Ice" book. I've kind of given up on this. It's been 15 years...

I will never forget the time I was at a press event around 1990 and heard Paul Simon right behind me. I turned around, and it was... his brother, Eddie.
