Hi @covertshores.bsky.social, we've seen lots of IRGC boats showcased in the past. Any thoughts on these two that they used to board/seize the MSC container ship yesterday?

Satellite image shows two cargo ships moments after they were attacked by an Iranian gunboat in Strait of Hormuz. European Space Agency image taken at 6.46am UTC this morning, just eight minutes after second attack was reported. The two ships, MSC Francesca and Epaminondas, are around 3km apart.

Satellite image shows a ship on fire in the Strait of Hormuz, but if we look closer there’s something potentially more interesting! It’s impossible to verify but they could be Iranian boats heading away from the burning ship. Images from European Space Agency H/t @tombike.bsky.social

A 2012 drone video shows the area around the shooter's location on the 4th floor. A metal railing encloses an accessible balcony area which means that to reach the roof where the shot was taken, they could have climbed or jumped over the railing

Firearms consultant David Dyson told us that, based on the range from where they are believed to have fired, the gunman would likely need to be a somewhat skilled target shooter. He said it's "not a great range" for someone with practice

The position of the car suggests it was thrown sideways as it came into the curve, before tipping and sliding into the building. Normally, when one car is at the base, the other should be at the top. This suggests the crashed carriage may have travelled around 200 metres downhill before derailing.

The Gloria line is around 265 metres in length up a steep slope with an average gradient of 17%. The wrecked carriage is 30 metres from the bottom station, ending up on the lower side of the bend.

What does the wreckage of the Gloria funicular tell us... Parts of the Gloria funicular are strewn along the pavement in central Lisbon. The car's lower side has jumped completely off the rails and is lying at around a 45-degree angle.

New video reveals two missiles were used in the second strike. These were milliseconds apart so suggest two tanks would have fired. Defence intelligence company Janes told Sky News, "the interval between the two impacts is far too short" to be a single tank.
