Blizzard's catching flak right now for not banning Asmongold (again), but I think it's important they *also* catch flak for paywalling their first HotS character in 6 years—the first major announcement at BlizzCon this year!—for upwards of *two months* before she's generally available. Insane stuff.

Still early, but I appreciate that Guild Wars 3 is doubling down right from jump on the movement/exploration mechanics that made 2 so much fun. The simple act of getting around in GW2 is joyful and near frictionless in a way that its contemporaries haven't been able to match even ~10 years later.

I actually had to think about this a fair bit for one of my recent characters! On top of being a dancer, one of our early sessions saw us infiltrating a high-end party, so naturally we needed something fancy to wear. She's not much on magic, though, so her looks trend more towards conventional.

Been catching up on my Janthir Wilds story lately. Today was my first real foray into Bava Nisos, and it very quickly became my favorite zone of the expansion. The environment team always kills it, but getting another zone that's also a colossal creature is a rare treat. Love that shit. #GuildWars2

Sariel was one of my Baldur's Gate 3 characters before I adapted them for a real game. They were meant to be sacrificed by cultists to a Great Old One; instead, the Old One killed the cultists and made Sariel a warlock. Pretty sweet deal so far. Art credit: @marycreatesart.bsky.social #D&D #OCSky

Recent(ish) acquisitions from the folks over at @peculiarityshop.bsky.social. The Pride bracelet just arrived yesterday; the other two are from the winter mystery box, which I foolishly forgot to post pictures of at the time. All of them look, I think, quite stylish.
