What is really maddening is the other primary vector of fossil carbon - polymers: plastics, PFAS, glues, building materials, chemicides, etc. causing endocrine disruption and biosystem poisoning. Unbridled corporate growth no matter that it's killing the very host we draw life from.

Growth at all cost no matter that it's killing the very host it draws life from. There's another entity with that same behavior. It's called cancer. What will our cultural chemotherapy look like?

It's been a long while since I priced out grass hay but I'm guessing it's not good. We got ours from South Park which has been hit hard with drought.

I've said this many times. All this nonsense can be easily fixed with Flow Tax but it doesn't even make it into the conversation. Can you imagine if a party runs on this platform? We need to take a very hard look at this.

I have a BA in sociology and an MS in Civil Engineering. That may seem odd but it's surprising how much those 2 disciplines interact with each other. After all, civil engineering is just the physical representation of our culture.

There are no bounds of shame for those who withhold food from hungry children as leverage for political purpose. It is our civil duty to strip them of their power to cast such cruelty on our culture.

If they insist on building data centers, make them build on brownfields and supply all their power requirements with solar/battery or deep rock geothermal, and recycled water. Plus, for all the acreage they use, make them offset with native pollinator fields, wildlife corridors, regenerative farms.
