Even the M62 being closed didn’t spoil that- what a great night with lots of excellent football- loved it #lufc

😂🤦‍♂️ yes not my finest wording on a re-read🤔

010

actiondan.bsky.social @actiondan.bsky.social · 02/09/2026

The documentary was quite eye opening for that and also showed how vulnerable the players are in these situations. I must admit I felt for Willy yesterday must have been a strange day waiting and not knowing if he was definitely staying in Italy #lufc

020

actiondan.bsky.social @actiondan.bsky.social · 02/09/2026

I remember going to bed with Dan James photographed in the building and waking up to he’s not signed- very glad to see the positive headline this morning. Credit where it’s due I think that’s an excellent transfer window #lufc

actiondan.bsky.social @actiondan.bsky.social · 02/09/2026

It was all fine in the end- did you sit up to final confirmation?

000

actiondan.bsky.social @actiondan.bsky.social · 01/09/2026

Sky sports reporting #lufc have submitted a deal sheet so have 2 more hours to complete- so bed time and hope that caps off a great transfer window

270

actiondan.bsky.social @actiondan.bsky.social · 31/08/2026

Surely #lufc have an attacking deal done to let Gnonto go on loan- but gutted to see him depart- he was a rare highlight and excitement of bleak times under Marsch, hope he gets more game time won’t miss the chant will miss the player

080

actiondan.bsky.social @actiondan.bsky.social · 25/08/2026

I think the signing of Trafford boosts the whole teams confidence- playing without the fear of a gaff at the back and having confidence to pass back to him at any point is helping the whole team already- remember how it felt to pass back to Kiko!! What an incredible signing #lufc

3292

actiondan.bsky.social @actiondan.bsky.social · 22/08/2026

This is where the transfer window closing after the season starts massively benefits the big spending clubs- we’ll be waiting for ‘domino’s’ to fall or ‘decisions to be made’ where as teams who drop £90million on players can do business when suits them- I think all squads should be sorted before KO

010

actiondan.bsky.social @actiondan.bsky.social · 20/08/2026

Yep it would appear to reward luck- should definitely be measured on how many tickets you tried to get

020

actiondan.bsky.social @actiondan.bsky.social · 20/08/2026

I know he gets dismissed as an option but I do think he is a victim of Chelsea’s overbuying and his stock has fallen. I think Farke would be very good for him and there is a strong effective forward in there, if the finances could work I think he could be good for #lufc

140

actiondan.bsky.social @actiondan.bsky.social · 13/08/2026

Never heard that before 🤷‍♂️ That under 23 team seemed to have so much potential but not much got through to first team, Sean McGurk was another in that team who looked so sharp but didn’t step up. Cresswell sold was a shame but I understood the move

010

actiondan.bsky.social @actiondan.bsky.social · 13/08/2026

Took the kids a few years ago to watch the under 23’s at Liverpool- he scored a hat trick and missed a pen and absolutely destroyed Liverpool and looked a level above. Sad he never quite made the step up for #lufc wish him well (except at Elland Road)

290

actiondan.bsky.social @actiondan.bsky.social · 12/08/2026

There has been so little transparency about memberships- how many they sell, how many people apply for each game, people shell out decent money for a chance at tickets but what is the actual chance? @berencross.bsky.social @grahamsmyth.bsky.social can the club be asked about this?

240

actiondan.bsky.social @actiondan.bsky.social · 12/08/2026

Should the weighting not be on number of tickets applied for last year- we tried probably 16 times last year and we were successful 9 times, so we can’t be a priority this year because we didn’t get 11! Success in a luck based system last year doesn’t mean more loyalty #lufc

140

actiondan.bsky.social @actiondan.bsky.social · 12/08/2026

Fair enough, lazy emailing from the club perhaps, emailing UK based fans seems unnecessary

100

actiondan.bsky.social @actiondan.bsky.social · 12/08/2026

Fair enough, just odd emailing UK based fans

110

actiondan.bsky.social @actiondan.bsky.social · 11/08/2026

#lufc charging £5 to stream tomorrow nights game v scum when it’s on ITV seems odd

460

actiondan.bsky.social @actiondan.bsky.social · 07/08/2026

Also #lufc ‘s willingness to acknowledge that last years GK recruitment didn’t quite work and to do something significant about it immediately not try limp forward- V impressed

120

actiondan.bsky.social @actiondan.bsky.social · 06/08/2026

His medical started on Monday- you have to say that’s extremely thorough!! #lufc

120

actiondan.bsky.social @actiondan.bsky.social · 05/08/2026

There are certain things you just know where you were when… This is definitely one of them for me, I was on our favourite Welsh beach with rubbish signal and I was following the bbc updates- felt weirdly exciting, can’t believe that was 8 years ago #lufc

010

actiondan.bsky.social @actiondan.bsky.social · 04/08/2026

if the club had stayed on here and engaged a bit more I think there would have been a continued move across- I still prefer it and won’t go back even if Leeds content dries up

071

actiondan.bsky.social @actiondan.bsky.social · 30/07/2026

€40 million Euros on a fairly unproven young striker is a big gamble- it’s so hard to gauge what sensible spending is

120

actiondan.bsky.social @actiondan.bsky.social · 30/07/2026

This to me emphasises the importance of stability for us this year, it’s highly unlikely all of those appointments will work, our stability and good investment key to second year success #lufc

120

actiondan.bsky.social @actiondan.bsky.social · 29/07/2026

Lots of Dortmund fans were furious he hadn’t been offered another contract but much like Pasc when players want a change there is little the club can do and fans start pretending there was lots wrong with the player because he’s leaving

020

actiondan.bsky.social @actiondan.bsky.social · 23/07/2026

I think Pickford at Everton is a useful model- a keeper shining at a mid table/ relegation battle club but a constant for England over many years- keepers want to be undisputed number 1 and doesn’t have to be a ‘big six’ or even club in Europe to do that. Hopefully Trafford inspired by that #lufc

150

actiondan.bsky.social @actiondan.bsky.social · 23/07/2026

This summer feels like a different level, I know it’s the hope that’s kills us but maybe our recruitment team do know what they are doing #lufc

010

actiondan.bsky.social @actiondan.bsky.social · 18/07/2026

I found out that Leeds had signed Lee Bowyer on teletext (one for the kids) had to wait ages for for it to scroll through pages and pages until it got to Leeds United news- was really excited as he was the sought after young signing of that time

010

actiondan.bsky.social @actiondan.bsky.social · 01/07/2026

We watch with the five live commentary via the red button because I couldn’t stand listening to Shearer anymore

020

actiondan.bsky.social @actiondan.bsky.social · 30/06/2026

I suspect the contract offer was given some time ago, he has decided not to accept it and wants to move on so that settles #lufc on he’s the one to sell to square off PSR

150

actiondan.bsky.social @actiondan.bsky.social · 28/06/2026

I agree and I think he would be a good option, he had a good level of performance at the end of the season. When we switched to a two it was always Bijol that went off leaving pascal and rodon together- what do you think Farke would do Bijol or barn owl in a 2 I’m not sure he’s convinced by either

100

actiondan.bsky.social @actiondan.bsky.social · 28/06/2026

He wants to go so Leeds lose the power to dictate his value and it ceases to be what he’s ‘worth’-Emotionally he’s always going to be worth more to us fans. Gutted he’s going-I really like him and what he brings to #lufc but I can’t agree that he’s irreplaceable even upgradable with good recruitment

020

actiondan.bsky.social @actiondan.bsky.social · 28/06/2026

I fell asleep in the first half 😂🤦‍♂️ just feel no connection to this England team at all

000

actiondan.bsky.social @actiondan.bsky.social · 28/06/2026

Leeds were bidding £10 million for Harry Wilson last summer and prob would have got him if Fulham had found a replacement- crazy value considering the season he went on to have- clubs are vulnerable when players reject new contract and enter last year #lufc

140

actiondan.bsky.social @actiondan.bsky.social · 28/06/2026

Leeds themselves have targeted players in the last year of their contract as there is ‘value’ to be had- it’s prob not bad value in the circumstances. Gutted to see him leave though #lufc

030

actiondan.bsky.social @actiondan.bsky.social · 21/06/2026

One of our cats is called Pablo, named in lockdown as a Kitten as THE Pablo kept coming on injured in the second half to steer us home

030

actiondan.bsky.social @actiondan.bsky.social · 16/06/2026

Joe Cole of ‘The Golden Generation’ of English football…now THAT was a myth #lufc

090

actiondan.bsky.social @actiondan.bsky.social · 07/06/2026

Agreed! For the relatively tiny effort it would engage a group of genuine fans, crap decision making at the club

020

actiondan.bsky.social @actiondan.bsky.social · 07/06/2026

Very true, it would make here less of a place I’d probably want to be 🤦‍♂️ however post to both wouldn’t be difficult as a decent compromise

120

actiondan.bsky.social @actiondan.bsky.social · 07/06/2026

It just so sad that #lufc (and many others) don’t seem to get that this is the self serving, political, hate filled, bot filled cess pit that many of us don’t want to be part of to connect with our club

2140

actiondan.bsky.social @actiondan.bsky.social · 05/06/2026

Yep, I suppose / hope they will be savvy again and unearth some decent signings at reasonable prices, definitely first team signings would be my priority

010

actiondan.bsky.social @actiondan.bsky.social · 05/06/2026

I think we will see the emergence of more trading this year, they didn’t do the ‘outs’ very well last year. If we sell well my guess is 130m budget this summer

110

actiondan.bsky.social @actiondan.bsky.social · 01/06/2026

My son is taking his GCSE’s at the moment, today in his RE exam apparently it was a tough longer question and he ran out of things to say so wrote ‘Marching on Together’ at the bottom of his answer hoping it’s an #lufc fan marking his paper 😂🤦‍♂️ #prouddad

1191

actiondan.bsky.social @actiondan.bsky.social · 24/05/2026

Only 2 defeats in our last 10 games, 8th in the form table over that time with 16 points- that’s a decent end to a season- well done #lufc

082

actiondan.bsky.social @actiondan.bsky.social · 24/05/2026

I missed Summerville’s arm going down 😂 it’s a very clever / cheeky bit of work- v impressive

050

actiondan.bsky.social @actiondan.bsky.social · 23/05/2026

Are Boro the only team ever to lose the playoff semi final and final in the same season 🤦‍♂️ only sadness is for Bill #lufc

150

actiondan.bsky.social @actiondan.bsky.social · 22/05/2026

I definitely won’t be getting up in the middle of the night to watch Ivan Toney and Jordan Henderson 😂🤦‍♂️

100

actiondan.bsky.social @actiondan.bsky.social · 22/05/2026

From a harsh Leeds perspective I am glad he can have a restful summer and be back day 1 for pre-season but my interest in the World Cup just dipped

110

actiondan.bsky.social @actiondan.bsky.social · 21/05/2026

Can’t believe he’s taking Toney- senseless move with him playing on such a pathetic league

110

actiondan.bsky.social @actiondan.bsky.social · 20/05/2026

Everton’s form has badly dropped off, you have to hope the chance of Europe pulls out a good performance
