During our field work yesterday the SeaSounds Project crew encountered a distressed Humpback Whale entangled in crab fishing gear. Response teams from Marine Mammal Center, Cascadia Research and NOAA Fisheries responded within 24 hours and are on scene now trying to free this magnificent mammal.
