An oddly docile bald-faced hornet I found while hiking. Grown bored of doing "normal" macro shots. Started messing with color / take a more creative approach. Surprisingly cute without a hundred other ones trying to swarm you. #photography #hornet #sonyalpha #wildlife #bug #macrophotography #macro

There are times when you are out shooting that the light hits something so briefly, that it's gone in before you realize. Luckily, I did realize and didn't screw up any of my settings. These fungi were positively glowing. #fungi #sonymacro #sonyalpha #macrophotography #nature #photography

Every single time I am done editing my portfolio on Squarespace, it feels like the layout is barely holding together with duck tape and glue and if I move one thing, it just self implodes.

Four mushroom for you from a rainy, summer day. The first a red Russula Persanguinea. The second red I think is a torn up Brittlegill. Third a yellow is definitely a Smooth Chanterelle. The last some kind of Amanita. #mushrooms #fungi #macrophotography #photography #nature

McCord On failing the 7th pentagon audit in a row: “So if someone had a report card that is half good and half not good, I don’t know that you call the student or the report card a failure." That's a 50%, it's literally an F for failure buddy. Did you go to school?

I think the first priority always has to be making something that's genuinely worth peoples' time and money. Not just something that's capable of taking peoples' time and money. Again nothing against dopamine loops in games or viral success or w/e, it's just... idk.

NIN Year Zero feels even more relevant than the Bush years. Give the album a listen if you haven't, probably their most accessible album. I got my propaganda, I got revisionism I got my violence in hi-def ultra-realism All a part of this great nation I got my fist, I got my plan, I got survivalism

Blade Runner 2049 has me feeling a way I haven't felt about a film in a long time. A rare, modern, epic sci-fi masterpiece.

I just realized that 95% of games I've played and enjoyed in the last couple of years do not have realistic/photorealistic graphics. It's all just become so generic looking with the uncanny valley getting larger. Models and textures look better, but face/hair animations still pull me out every time.
