Updated tlapalli.ackzell.dev with screenshots for the new UI VSCode shows. I think it's behind a config or something but I guess better to show it off that way. Fixed the marketplace badges that I had customized but the params were updated on the shield service thingie. And added one more thing 😝

Here's a demo of something I worked on for a couple weeks: Nitlapōhua (means "I count [stuff]" in Náhuatl) It's a multiplayer / solo game to help my kids (the whole family really) to improve on quick math skills youtu.be/Jryar4K7ltQ

Here is a video with Part 2 (?) of my journey with Tlapalli: a theme I originally created for #VSCode and that is now available for the #Zed editor as well 🤓 You can get it here: zed.dev/extensions/t... youtu.be/BhawWj6iMYQ

I want to have assets for a landing page I will be updating soon. So I need to get 16 theme variations of the same window. Join me to see how I accomplish it in about 1h 🤓 www.youtube.com/live/gIEpWQI...

Not quite ready for actual live-streams because I am too shy hahah But I did work on a thing and shared the whole process during a "live streaming" session yesterday: youtube.com/live/TdcHGvT... I don't want to spend too much time with these vids, so I'll just add chapters for now

Some news! The @zed.dev team was very kind and they merged my PR to add Tlapalli as an extension zed.dev/extensions/t... This is a dark / light monochromatic theme with 16 variations I've been working on for the past few months.

I had an idea during the creation of my latest youtube video... so I started working on something

A split screen screenshot of VSCode on the left and Motion Canvas editor on the right.

It shows the use of "native motion canvas" along side a vue component that is being animated using the same generators.

Re-learning chemistry is soooo much NOT fun 😝. I prefer algebra so much more. I'm just thinking I'll have to do this for at least a couple more years lol What IS fun is watching the lights turning on in the brains of my kids and they go 😱🤯 🥹

Post a pic you took, no context, to bring some zen to the feed.

Close up of a plant covered by snow. The background is out of focus but some branches and snow make the image mostly white, while a small flower at the tip of a leafless branch that is centered on the photo and in focus stands out.

I just had one of those moments where I wasn't sure I should push my kid a little harder. I don't want to raise them "too softly" and not be "ready for life". But it felt like the right call was to just let her be this time. I'll find a time to help her feel she can be tougher. 🤞
