I've never heard of drinkmate stuff before I saw them in @deviantollam.bsky.social 's video on ToorCamp. They seem to work extremely well even with liquids very much not intended to be carbonated. www.youtube.com/watch?v=89Qz...

While chromium forked KHTML for Blink at least they made their own JS engine; V8. Safari straight up joinked both KHTML and KJS and turned them into WebKit and JavaScriptCore respectively. Safari is just Konqueror++ or maybe Objective-Konqueror, because you know... Apple.

stoat.chat but with federated identity (login) and a multi-instance client (one client unifying data from multiple backends). Just those two features. Add those two things and you get viable distributed Discord.

I can’t speak for everyone, but my mind tends to treat writing an article, making a video, writing a song, cooking a meal, drawing an image, and, apparently, designing software the same way. It’s not a matter of just “generating” something perfect from my head, but exploring the tension that exists between what I’m imagining and the limitations of my stupid meat body. That’s actually the exciting part. It also lets me figure out if something has turned out wrong or just resulted in a happy accident. Vibe coding, like every new trend coming out of Silicon Valley, turns this process — the entire act of creativity, itself — into a slot machine. One more pull on the AI and maybe it will figure it out for you. You won’t understand how any of it works, of course, or feel particularly proud of what you’ve done, but maybe you’ll have something. Just a few more dollars for some more tokens. C’mon, just pay a bit more.

Liven up the group chats you're in by posting any or all of these images along with some bullshit bombastic emojis like 🇺🇸🤜🤛🇷🇺🧙‍♂️🥵🍆💦 Then abruptly delete it all about 15 minutes later, saying something like... "Wait, shit, is this the chat WITH reporters or WITHOUT reporters??"

I use three, but they never stay to their set purpose. So honestly, I'd like the ability to have "ad hoc" workspaces that you can create and delete whenever kind of like how desktop workspaces work on most plaforms. Just send a tab to it and it's created, and then deleted when all tabs are gone.

Here on Bluesky you follow content labelers that are either automated or collective effort to label users and posts according to their purpose, and then you get the choice what you want to happen to those labels, like hide, block user etc.

Material You is just Pywal for the "Material Design 3" system. Technically you can just change all the colors to whatever you want, but only if whatever device you're using exposes the palette options to you. Most only give you access to the primary color 'cause its much less complicated to users.

Writing a post thread is easy on bluesky. You just have to start typing your post, and then when you want to go to the next post in the thread you click the little plus sign at the bottom; next to the language selector. (You have to start typing for the plus sign to appear.)

Screenshot of this post prior to posting it, with a red outline around the plus sign button indicating adding a new post to the thread.

From how I interpret the post you do not log in, but rather give them your handle and they read your public list of follows. I have not actually installed the app though, so can't verify this assumption.
