d'awwwwww! 100% cute-hound ;) If you are interested in her ancestors/parents, there's dozens of dog DNA analysis corporations. I personally used Embark Vet. It's fun when you get a notification that someone has registered a sibling and it's on the other side of the world. Or next door lol!

I found “the $30k isn’t life changing thread” and I’m thinking shutting down economics isn’t enough: we need to burn the whole field to the ground, salt the fucking earth, and erect warning placards so that future generations avoid the poisoned ground the field stood on.

30k wouldn't be life changing?!? I guess it's nice for those people if 30k is a fun interlude, but so many people I know would have the course of their lives changed. Too much stuff on social media seems like ragebait, and Bluesky doesn't even pay them for "engagement"

Asking for a friend: is there a Clubhouse alternative in the Atmosphere? You know, an audio platform for live, participatory discussions? I couldn’t find anything... I love the concept of @stream.place but I’m thinking audio only. My “friend” could surely make great use of it these days 🤭

I just met with a landscaper, we're having our front yard redone. One of the most interesting bits was his extensive use of Gemini Nano Banana to show us proposed pictures of the work. The way he generated them surprised me a bit.

A rework of the bsky UI. Multipart comments are concatenated into one, and comment trees are fully shown. It is also supposed to reduce the empty space a bit, but this is only a first pass.

I have a half-formed discussion group thing which stores groups as atproto DIDs, and people own their own comments. There's other sites too, atmobb.app is one, for the classic forum look and feel. tangled.org/bretton.dev/... and wafrn.net exist already too.
