People still think the country is running on 2010 rules are wrong in my opinion. We have changed (obviously for the worse) and are just programmed to respond differently than in the past.

Don't need an asteriskd but people need a brain to know there's a difference. And as we know, Americans have lost all ability to understand nuance

Hope people understand that teachers (k-12 I mean) themselves don't get to decide what kids learn. In nearly all cases We are told the standards to be taught and the materials to be used. The buzz words are "teaching with fidelity" so these criticisms should be directed to admin and policy makers

Dont you think more things in finance are measurable, so there's less (not none of course) space for opinion/theory/prediction etc?

Hey Ben... Could you disgrace Michael for saying that Claire Danes out acted Matthew Rhys? Seriously worst take he's had in a while

acisor.bsky.social @acisor.bsky.social · 26/12/2025
I appreciate that. Just saying a lot of people in here thinking they're geniuses for saying "second hand stores!" etc when reality is having a complete stylish wardrobe over time isn't realistic for a lot of poor people. It's insulting, whether you realize it or not

think people haven't tried that??? style guys posting quality e-bay items... They're STILL a fortune And Yea stylish people famously wear the same two pairs of pants for a decade straight through all seasons.

acisor.bsky.social @acisor.bsky.social · 26/12/2025
Seems like it's what really well off people who can keep up with the changing styles, have a wide selection of things to wear say in order to make themselves feel better. "second hand stores!" "buy high quality!" Just think it's a misunderstanding of what it means to live paycheck to paycheck

acisor.bsky.social @acisor.bsky.social · 26/12/2025
Hmm. Let's start with pants. If one wants to remain stylish, they'd have to have changed pants style several times in the past twenty years. And people don't wear 2 pairs of pants. I just want ONE "stylish" person 2 give an honest inventory of their clothes over a decade, showing they cld poor.

Then why is nearly everything shared really damn expensive. & don't r tell me about second hand stores....the quality, nice fitting stuff is astronomical too. And if you buy cheap stuff, many will accuse you of supporting fast fashion that ends up in landfills I guess block/ridicule people is fun

They'll include things like her walking to get the phone or 30 seconds of setting up the paint. And if you add all those mundane scenes together it probably is more than 3/4 the running time of the show. That being said... I do like it.

I want to raise a few issues with this ... - The unemployment rate was 4.6% in Nov 2025. - There are 982,000 more unemployed people in Nov 2025 than in Jan 2025. - There are 271,000 fewer federal government employees. - 982,000 > 271,000. More than 3 times more unemployed.

I'm Actually ok with slow and boring but the tone of it just seemed way off. I think that's why critics like it so much because it's just unique in that way but otherwise it's pretty cliche in other ways actually, in my opinion.
