okay the front of this is coming along. It's a cigar box shrine btw. I've made smaller tins + dioramas before but this is a bigger and more ambitious thing overall. I've yet to begin on the inside except for planning

I love to make dumb ass stupid ass goofy shit for my own amusement. this is what art is actually for btw

A soft sculpture assemblage of a uterus and ovaries. It's made from a weird hot pink Temu bag my mom got me, with some variously-colored pom poms and some bells from some nipple clamps for the ovaries, and some pink floral ribbon around the fallopian tubes. It's adorned in the middle with a blue ribbon that reads "I Got Castrated" (a promotional item for Louise Weard's Castration Movie).

more detailsss. I filled in the neck hole with some clay but also I kinda liked having the implication of a beheading being inherent to the cherubification process.

A few more detailed, close shots of the tiny cherub head, which fits nicely into the palm of my hand. This one is a top-down look at the curls on the top of the head.

This angle is showing the bottom of the cherub, where the head would've connected to the axolotl toy body. It's been made to look like an open, red neck hole, but clean and sealed off with a golden cross. Also I'm ngl it kinda looks sorta like a butthole lmao

I found one of these little blindbox toy heads in the gutter a few weeks ago and over the last few days I decided to turn it into a cherub of sorts. for funsies

A painted axolotl toy head turned into a biblical cherub, which is to say a beatific baby head with some wings on the sides.

A webpage listing for the original axolotl blind box toy this head would've been from. Apparently these things have little accessories and so on. The one I have the head from is a snorkeler, with a little fish companion.
