I’m sure this will age me sooner rather than later but I will never not be overcome by the impulse to clown on people who earnestly try to retell ‘funny jokes’ they had chatgpt write for them. Like damn you put no work into that huh? And you’re just out here telling people?

Tbh the main thing preventing me from fully jumping to bluesky is that it feels impossible to curate my feed here. I want my army account to just be BTS & kpop stuff. That’s it. If people I follow post politics that’s fine, but why the fuck can I not get it to stop showing me randos political posts?

Being a person with deadly, incurable cancer who is nonetheless still alive for an indefinite timeframe gives me an interesting metaphor that helps me deal with things like large-scale corruption in government or commerce. Bear with me for a second while I try to explain.

Just to give you an understanding of the kind of emotional place im in: I just finished reminding my cat (who is snuggled in my arms) that she’s never ever ever allowed to die, my period started last night, and then I read the news about little tannie :((((((

Trying to look at going back to school but I got my bachelors too long ago so I would have to repeat a bunch of coursework 😭 like not to be a baby, but idk if I can psychically handle paying to take a therapeutic communication course when I have been working as a counselor for 11 years 😭😭

Okay dear blue sky please either get drafts or something like close friends, I want to be a little messy but not enough of my irl friends have joined yet for me to block them and ensure my safety. Let me be messy in front of mutuals only or something.

NAMBOOB. WAIT, I MEAN NAMJOOB. NOPE, THAT'S NOT RIGHT. NAMJOON!!!

Namjoon stands in front of a mirror while topless. His tiddies are fully displayed, and he is clearly admiring them (which, SAME). There's a white shirt slung over his shoulder. It seems he's contemplating putting it on. I am trying to scream at him through the interwebs to remain topless for the good of all humanity.

there is nothing more quintessentially j-hope than him giggling with the biggest smile on his face and emitting sunshine from every pore, while he says “i feel like dying” and means it

A picture of jhope in a jean jacket sitting in front of a mic with his giant heart-shaped smile and translated text underneath that says “I feel like dying”

After weeks of fading our hot water heater is dead dead and having it replaced before thanksgiving is looking dicey. Ive been approaching high school levels of shower avoidance, but today I heated water on the stove and it was so fucking good I am never going back. I feel so clean and alive 😭

MIGRATION UPDATE: I used the @en.blueark.app to migrate all of my original posts and threads from twt to Bluesky. Cost about $13 for my 4-yr-old account. So far, pretty good! I'm still testing the results, so I'll post them below as they come in. 🧵
