One of the effects of #ACEs is enmeshed consciousness. Children often lose their sense of their identity as a result of needing to blend into the whole family to belong. As adults we can differentiate. Doing so is a valuable growth experience. “What others think of us is not our business.” TY Angi 🥰

Today is World Children’s Day. we were all kids once. we relied on the adults around us for safety, support, survival. We relied on them for nutrition, shelter, education. We trusted them to keep us healthy. Be that adult. Support our kids - that means ALL kids. They are quite literally our future!
