Part of me finds it funny because of course it is, it’s very surreal! On the other hand it just feels like the crossover aspect taken to the extreme. No curation, crossover for the sake of crossing over.

Kinda had these thoughts for a while! Seeing kid-adjacent franchises like scooby doo and power rangers just having realistic guns felt wrong and kind of feeds into Fortnite being a kid-friendly game despite it really shouldn’t be

It’s just such a shame because I consider Layton to be quite a pivotal character for me. That’s why I was holding on for so long that the new game wouldn’t be tainted by AI but I gotta stop giving level 5 the benefit of the doubt

Upon thinking about it more, yeah I’m gonna give up hope on the new Layton. I appreciate that they still appreciate human craft that goes into the core elements (characters, story, gameplay, etc), but I can’t support it when it’s incredibly likely gen AI is in there, even without a disclaimer

Looking proper content for the year ahead anyways January with Danganronpa and Metroid February with Persona 4 April with FF7 Kirby before May is done That’s one killer title per month for me so far, and then Xenoblade, KH4 and maybe even P6 still to come? I can’t complain

Pleased with the look of Fortune’s Weave, but especially its story structure! They’re doing different routes but it looks it’ll be all tied together if you do them all. Being able to do each path alongside each other is *superb* too. Glad they’re doing that
