I am a slow reader when it comes to books - hence not reading anymore epic fantasy until I retire. But finished this book that i got at a XenaCon - the author autographed it. He came up with the idea shortly after he left the Xena show. And first using this awesome bookmark! #Witchbomb #Xena

Decided to book amtrak form Vancouver back to Seattle day after #CityDrop Annoyingly it’s 7:25 am and due to US pre clearance - have to be there 6:25am. Thankfully looks like a 10 month metro ride or so form hotel Hopefully nice weather…..part of why doing it this way is for the scenery

Flights booked for City drop con. Need to secure hotels now (yes last min) Also debating doing the location tour by the con people - probably will. On that note need to look at photo ops 🤪 @citydropcon.bsky.social

Was going to post comments on last Game Informer previews (2 caught my eye) But lets go to State of play - the new FF looks cool but it seems to just reference other games The Gundam game has peaked my interest (if it comes to PC) New Metro game will def play. #StateofPlay #gaming

This is platinum 49! 50 are needed for lvl 80 though some claim the legacy high level medal counts as a plat - but will try to secure one more just in case #PokemonGo

I really cannot think of a greater honor than to have the Muppets say this about you upon your passing

Instagram post from the official Muppets account: Few humans have earned the title of honorary Muppet more than the legendary Tim Curry. As a performer he was unparalleled - witty, charming, unnerving, and deeply funny. We will always consider it one of our greatest treasures to have been part of Long John Silver’s crew. Thank you for everything, Tim.

Finally ESO plus for free for a few days. Just need it for the craft bag - space was getting very low. I also got a lead dropped from March of Sacrifices without even thinking about it #elderscrollsonline

Attended my first “Sexy Nerds” party last night - idk both loved and didn’t like it. Loud dance floor music (I don’t dance) but some good music here and there. Video games were setup so that was good. Sadly my social anxiety rears its ugly head in those situations #SexyNerds #NYC

Day 30 of #30dayvideogamechallenge - a few days late but final one is Favorite game of all time. This one is hard. I want to say Chrono Trigger - but I did choose that for retro game. So if I exclude that: Next would probably be Witcher 3 (runners up and explanation in comments) #Witcher3

Day 29 of #30dayvideogamechallenge - A game I didn't think I would like but ended up loving. That would be We Happy Few. Combat was a tad clunky but I ended up enjoying the hell out of this game! #Compulsiongames - I haven't played South of Midnight yet but plan to

010

Jason @acefromskyrim.bsky.social · 16/07/2026

Day 28 of #30dayvideogamechallenge - Favorite Game Developer. Another hard one - I will have to say Remedy. Every game they ever did was great...currently playing Control in fact. They don't pump out tons of games but each one is worth a play #RemedyEntertainment (fyi this is their old logo)

000

Jason @acefromskyrim.bsky.social · 15/07/2026

Day 27 of #30dayvideogamechallenge - Most Epic Scene Highlight subjective but I go for story payoff. So I’m going to have to go Last of US again. What is referred to as Joel’s decision in the end game, he decides he won’t just give up Ellie…

Jason @acefromskyrim.bsky.social · 14/07/2026

Day 26 of #30dayvideogamechallenge - Best Voice acting. Not the best judge for this - as I go with "what seems good" verses just overall good acting but I have to pick: The Last of US (1 and 2). Troy Baker and Ashley Johnson are great in first one...Laura Bailey comes in on the second one.

010

Jason @acefromskyrim.bsky.social · 13/07/2026

Day 25 of #30dayvideogamechallenge - A game I plan on playing. Well my backlog is long enough where I could loose my job and not get bored for 2-3 years minimum (if I could afford it) But a notable one on my list for THIS year: RE Village. Really want to play now that next entry is out!

010

Jason @acefromskyrim.bsky.social · 12/07/2026

Day 24 of #30dayvideogamechallenge - favorite classic game. Depends on definition of classic but guess SNES era qualifies. This will be Chrono Trigger. I could actually beat it unlike Super Mario 3. Could also be a number of Sierra Quest games but I choose Chrono

020

Jason @acefromskyrim.bsky.social · 11/07/2026

Day 23 of #30dayvideogamechallenge - Best Graphics or Art Style. I'm going to pick lower budget/indie and not just pure graphics. Cup head def peaked my interest with the old school animation. But I didn't play that one...of the games I played, I have to say Firewatch - simple yet effective

010

Jason @acefromskyrim.bsky.social · 10/07/2026

Day 22 of #30dayvideogamechallenge - A game sequel that disappointed me. I will have to pick Deus Ex Invisible War- the first sequel. The first game was one of the best I ever played. Sadly the second one, while not bad, was just not at the same level at all. The rebooted prequels were better!

000

Jason @acefromskyrim.bsky.social · 09/07/2026

Day 20 of #30dayvideogamechallenge - Game with Best Story This is hard as there is quite a few. But I will have to go with Red Dead Redemption 2. The character Arthur is flawed, and a thug at first, but eventually decides to start doing good. Its quite detailed and very real.

100

Jason @acefromskyrim.bsky.social · 08/07/2026

Day 20 of #30dayvideogamechallenge - Favorite Genre. I like quite a few but...if I had to pick one: Action Adventure Game - the likes of Last of Us and Horizon Zero Dawn. Basically I like games that give you some direction but allow you your own way to proceed, with various degrees of freedom

000

Jason @acefromskyrim.bsky.social · 07/07/2026

Day 19 of #30dayvideogamechallenge - Picture of a setting I would like to live in - have a few of these but a notable one is: The ending to Blood and Wine DLC to Witcher 3. I chose Yennifer and the ending was pretty close to being perfect. A nice house, loving partner and nice view. #Witcher3

000

Jason @acefromskyrim.bsky.social · 06/07/2026

Day 17 of #30dayvideogamechallenge - Favorite Protagonist - I will have to say Leon Kennedy from resident evil. He was just showing up to work when hell broke loose and approached all situations practically not guns blazing.

100

Jason @acefromskyrim.bsky.social · 05/07/2026

Day 17 of #30dayvideogamechallenge - Favorite Antagonist. Going to have to go with GLADOS from Portal. Very passive aggressive and lots of dark humor. Runner up is Handsome Jack from Borderlands for similar reasons #Portal

001

Jason @acefromskyrim.bsky.social · 04/07/2026

Day 16 of #30dayvideogamechallenge - So I screwed up - the cut scenes was today and yesterday was suppose to be a screenshot of what I'm playing. Just started Control but no screenshots yet - but I ongoing play ESO - so here is a screen grab! (my character is getting hugged by the Tiger guy)

000

Jason @acefromskyrim.bsky.social · 03/07/2026

Day 15 of #30dayvideogamechallenge - Game with best cut-scenes. In general any game from Square - but a sort of left field one is Warcraft 3. Yes - mainly cause its a strategy game but each scene was worth a watch. Check out the intro if you never have youtu.be/c2vm-QjK2xQ?...
