If a case against this ban got through to a reasonable judge, the simple facts of the law are clear that this cannot work without a change in primary legislation (which could also negate the first incorrect decision!), but the supreme court has shown they are will go against reason to be anti-trans.

And the people who wrote the law are still alive, they can say what they meant! Instead the judge made a torturous reading to get the result he felt were correct, and now the government refused to govern and used an unelected body to force through a reading that is not congruent with the actual law.

Anyway, the UK is, similar to the US, finding out that the political system does not actually protect abuse of power if the person is simply willing to ignore standards. That's what the bathroom ban was, the judge absolutely chose to be willfully stubborn about what was obviously the intent.

I don't even really know how to describe my problems in the heat. But it's just like, 30 degrees is when everything flips. Not like the MS symptoms get worse, but I'm just going to be fucked for like two days if I spend 3 hours in the heat. It's a cooling down afterwards problem, maybe.

Also, gotta say there's a modern anime cgi battle style I hate. Like, the robots didn't have distinctive colours or silhouettes, and the designs are really busy. So the shots move super quickly, I can't pick up who is doing what, and I just get the sensation of lights and movement. It's just slick.

And 4? You can tell there was a huge gap, because there's just so much exposition to explain how the story is going to end up where they want it to and it's like, Dr Who level nonsense to me at this point. The whole ending being Shinji and Gendo is interesting, but the journey to get there sucked.

3 was frustrating because so much hinged on people not telling Shinji anything, but it did not feel at all natural. Like they actively avoided telling him even when it would have natural to say what happened. Which is also bad for the viewer because we don't know what happened either!

2 is where it starts changing properly. It was intriguing, even thought Mari showing up was very... it's super clear she wasn't designed in the 90s while everyone else was. But it feels like with the changes to Asuka, this might be going somewhere but in 3 it becomes clear they had no plan.

I do hate the naming scheme, so I shall continue calling them by number. Rebuild 1 was like, pretty straight retelling of the first group of episodes, with some adjustments that are like "people know where this is going, so let's foreshadow it earlier".

So, End of Evangelion explains the ending better as a sequence of events, but I do think the series last two episodes are better for explaining the characters motivations. Don't know why it ends with Shinji choking Asuka and her saying disgusting though.
