This keeps reminding me about this person who was arguing with me last year about the Anthrocon fursuit parade. I was trying to bring up safety concerns and exclusion of partials. Then they riddled off with this. Bowing to them will get us no where, We will always be freaks.

"Because we are in an extremely dangerous environment politically int the U.S.. its not unimaginable to think that a parade with a lot of kink and such right now will get us REALLY bad attention, cause assaults, ect (this is in context t of oversexualized suits) you also need to keep in mind context. This isnt any old furry convention, this is anthrocon. They are a local staple, and people all across the city love it, including families. Its a force for good that should show off our best, we shouldn't just promote crap just because they got their first."

Just looked up why high schoolers in France are rioting Holy shit yall had them there for 50 hours a week. As an ADULT I crash out when im worked over 40 hrs a week. I couldn't imagine being a TEENAGER and doing that. Then you have to add up homework, projects, chores. I'd be lighting things up too

Today, October 1st 2026 marks major changes in the way food stamps are funded, many americans already struggling to eat, myself included, will lose coverage. Millions of americans have already had their benefits taken away.
