My concern is that it’s being rolled out too fast without proper training. They’re notoriously bad at math, but this isn’t being communicated effectively. People will use them assuming they’re no different than a calculator. This will introduce errors that additional errors will be built upon.

This happened today. I’m conflicted working for the government considering the government just shot a mom in the face. I get it’s two different agencies & when I started it was a different administration but the fact that this anniversary coincided with this fucking awful…just…awful…god awful thing…

No more laying in bed on a heating pad in pad, no more missing school/work, no more being in a very, very dark place for days before that each month suffering from PMDD. For me, my Mirena IUD has been a miracle drug and I hear they want to ban it and it makes me want to cry.

But personally for me the reason I have one - the MEDICAL reasons I have one, not just strictly for birth control (though that would be fine on its own) make it almost a necessity. It’s the only thing that’s regulated my very heavy cycle and the severe PMS along with it. It’s like magic-poof-gone!

We don’t know if IUD’s are covered That means before Jan 1, we need to get an appt w a doctor as an established patient for a procedure that’s 1) Covered 2) Legal That is the world women are living in. I’m not due for this appointment & IUD removal/insertion isn’t pleasant-it’s awkward & painful
