I solemnly pledge to actually post some art on BlueSky again BUT one last gripe: What's happening with YouTube mobile that each video looks like dark mode until I scroll down? Trying to be cinematic? No thank you.

Perhaps it's because I've read the entire series to date in comic form, but I'm shocked to realize that I don't find the Witch Hat Atelier show to be all that compelling? I actually skipped ahead to the climax in the first episode. Which is a shame since it's gorgeous, with great acting and music!

Controversial opinion: Hen of the woods/ Maitake is just too strong a flavor. I can't put them in anything or the whole meal will just taste like that. It's the Worcestershire sauce of mushrooms.

Medical heads up! I've started being told my "estimate" for a visit when I check in and ask to be billed later. 100% of the time, the estimate is at least double my bill. I was estimated around $3,000 for a recent MRI. I received a $0 statement. Because that's what my insurance is for.

Does anyone else's Adobe suite randomly decide not to access fonts that it definitely has?? For some reason it loves to decide not to display Adobe Jenson Pro regular. That's an Adobe font. It's hardcoded into the software, yet it will display alllll the other fonts within the typeface.
