15 years ago my mom died of diabetic hypoglycemia. Recently had a patient that reminded me of her. Unconscious, blood sugar was 15, which is at death’s door. We were sweating but got an IV in and give her D10. In minutes she was awake/talking. Was so hyped; feeling sentimental in the best way. :’)

Passed the final!!! And thus the didactic part of paramedic school is over. I’m gonna miss my classmates. 🥰 Next up is clinical rotations later this summer at a hospital for about a month, and then a few months of internship upgrading my job at Alameda County’s 911.
