ERIN: Molly's cured!

MOLLY: You're cured, too!

MOLLY: Mom told me that your father stayed in the village to look after us.
MOLLY: And you helped us protect our village with your magic.

MOLLY: Thank you, Sarah.

SARAH: Well, you're the one who managed to stop Tara.
LIAM: I helped against the witch, too, and...

MOLLY: Liam, don't look! Pervert!
LIAM: But!

MOLLY: I'm teasing... Without you, I wouldn't even have had the courage to go on a mission and face the witch.

MOLLY: Hello!

CARVI: Molly!
MARIA: You scared us good, little one!

MOLLY: I don't understand... Everyone's fine actually...

MARIA: Hurry up, Connor, so I can go kiss my little girl!
CONNOR: It's not that simple, Maria!

CONNOR: This is only the second time I've made one...Shepherdess Warriors Vol. 2, Page 10. 10 panels. There's some discussion of the incident that led to the loss of Maria's leg. MARIA: Well, as you can see, the beast didn't miss me!

CARVI: It's my fault! If I hadn't gotten close to it...

MOLLY: No, it's my fault. I, once again, didn't act fast enough and...

MARIA: Never say that again! You tried to stop the beast, each in your own way!
MARIA: Thanks to you, Molly, I'm lucky to have one leg left.

MARIA: It's all that damn witch's fault!

MARIA: Besides, the council is taking too long to set up its trial. I'm off to give my verdict right now!
ANNA: Mom...

MARIA: I'm fine!

ANNA: Feeling better?
MOLLY: Yes.

ANNA: I knew you shouldn't have gone!
MOLLY: Something had to be done to stop the beast, you know that.

ANNA: But I was so afraid for you. Afraid you wouldn't come back...
ANNA: That you'd never wake up.

ANNA: Are you sure everything's okay?
MOLLY: Yes. But I had a strange dream...
LIAM: Molly!

LIAM: You're awake!

TORPEDO: I didn't kill him, but I know who did.

WENDY: Leave something for the wedding day, James.

JAMES: I want you to come with me the day after tomorrow. I want to introduce you to someone.
WENDY: To who?
JAMES: I'll tell you about it while eating at that Chinese restaurant we like so much.

JAMES: I'm writing a formidable article about Piero Caputo, famous mafia member of the 1930s. The other day, I met with his three children, very wary beasts...

Cowering, Monk laments that he'll have to tell his boss bad news revealing that he works for an organization called the Monster Investigation Bureau. Monk: Darn! I've been unmasked.

Monk: Now that you know my true face...I'll have to kill you!
Archibald: Aaah!

Cat: MEOWW!

Monk: Hey! That was a joke. A joke! Please get the cat off of me!
Archibald: ...

Monk: He's really fierce...and he fights a lot better than I do. Oh dear. What am I going to tell my boss?
Archibald: Your boss? Who do you work for?

Monk: It's a secret, but...
Monk: ...my name is Monk, and I'm an agent with the MIB.
Archibald: What's that?

Monk: The Monster Investigation Bureau. We're here to monitor monsters and catalog magical objects around the world. My mission was to bring back the jar.

Archibald: That sounds dangerous! You can count on me to help you!Archibald, Page 9. 8 panels. Archibald tells Monk that he's a detective, and he starts searching the shop for clues. He finds a trail on the dusty floor and concludes that it was left by a large snake. He confirms with his cat (Joffrey) via making a drawing of a snake.

Monk: Hmm..

Archibald: That's that trail there?
Monk: Where?
Archibald: Here. There's an "s"-shaped mark close to where the jar had been.

Monk: If you ask me, that's from a mop.
Archibald: I don't do much cleaning... Mmm, yes...! See...

Archibald: Snakes leave this kind of trail behind them. And this one was the really big kind!
Monk: A snake? I should have thought of it myself.

Archibald: We'll check it out. Joffrey guards the store at night by himself.
Monk: ?

Archibald: Joffrey?
Joffrey: ?

Archibald: You see? I was right!
Joffrey: KYAAA!
Monk: ...Archibald, page 10. 6 panels. Archibald and Monk follow the snake's trail to a broken drainage grate. Finding a manhole, they climb down into the sewer. Archibald holds a candle to light their way as they walk down a tunnel.

Archibald: The trail leads to the door! Let's follow it!

Monk: Darn, the trail ends here... What do we do now?

Archibald: It must have gone down into the sewers. Snakes like damp places.
Monk: Hmm...

Monk: I still don't trust you.
Archibald: Don't just stand there. Give me a hand.

Archibald: By the way, what's so special about this jar?
Monk: It's a secret...
Archibald (thinking): This dog love secrets...

Rat: ?
Monk: ...but it seems like it contains something very important.
Archibald: Really? It didn't feel like there was anything in it.

The ghost is still there in much the same position. Narration continues: "On account of that, I was always sick and going to the hospital." Panel 3: A group of doctors examines a wall of Van's X-Rays. Narration continues: "The doctors did every test in the book. They found something in my eyes." Panel four: Close-up on Van's X-Ray, showing a side view of his eyeball area. Narration continues: "Something they'd never seen before. Something they couldn't explain." Panel 5: The doctors are now speaking to Van's mother, who looks distraught. Narration continues: "My poor mom felt helpless. And she was. There was nothing she, or science, could do."Third page of Grammaton Punch, 5 panels. Panel 1: View of Van's bedroom while he sleeps fitfully, the ghost lady standing over him. Narration continues: "For five years, the ghost lady kept me on the edge of death." Panel 2: Young Van rides a big-wheel tricycle down the sidewalk. The ghost lurks behind a tree in the background. Narration continues: "She'd back off so I could recharge, then come back for more." Panel 3: Van plays with a toy truck in the foreground while his mother stands in the doorway, hand to her mouth, looking aghast. Narration continues: "What was really messed up is that all this draining resulted in my hair turning white. Weird, I know..." Panel 4: Van plays with toy dinosaurs as the ghost drains him. He's sweating, eyes in shadow, looking annoying. Narration continues: "Somehow this ghost had the ability to touch me." Panel 5: Extreme close-up on Van.
