Packing up the office for the downsize really sucks! I’ve parted with >half the contents. So many books, notes, thank you cards and pictures that were part of the fabric of my everyday work life. Yet, I still have too much for the allotted packing boxes. #lostmysenseofplace #disorientated

It’s Formby #fieldtrip day. Today we employ our powers of imagination & analogy: imagining we are in a dryland dune region. Measuring velocity profiles of the wind with height, looking out for saltation under today’s wind & moisture conditions & observing drifting dunes and their stratigraphy.
