Abigail has been keeping a low profile, lately but a conversation with a friend of AA led to an invitation to write this. @kellymccubbin.bsky.social has written us a VERY in-depth breakdown of the possible pitfalls of Disneyland Abu Dhabi. abigailsarmy.com/disneyland-a... #disneyland

Disneyland Abu Dhabi — Does Disney Know What They’re Getting Into?

What does Disney want, what do they expect and what do they really understand about the motivations of an emirate?

The FAA is closing down flights over the Disneyland area this weekend for "VIP Movement.". Word seems to be that JD Vance needs him a churro fix. I suspect that really what's going on is that he's going to visit the immigration amnesty center that is on land that Disney leases to the Fed.

Wondering why there were ICE agents around the Disneyland facilities this week? Since 2017 Disney has leased this office to USCIS for immigrants to go for interviews for asylum. Toy Story Lot is a block away. ICE was picking up people going to their asylum appointments. #disneyland #NoKings #noice

This is breathtakingly sad. It's the destruction of a major piece of art by a major American artist. And at the time, Disney said that they had preserved the murals.

Disney has been falling over themselves for a year, desperate to capitulate before ordered. They absolutely threw in the towel in their 1st Amendment fight with DeSantis. They refused to air an ep of Moon Girl that dealt with trans sports last year. They just settled the ABC News case with Trump.

So the testimony for the Carroll suit included Trump saying that he was worth 14 billion. The judge instructed the jury to take that into account. They told him to pay 83 million. That is a 169th of his stated net worth. Take your net worth and divide by 169. The jury basically let him off, again.

The money means nothing to him: it's not a significant enough amount and, even if it were, his zombie hoards are happy to pay it for him through campaign donations. Every time his name shows up on the news, his support solidifies even more. Why stop?
