💻 One month of reccing my own fics! 📹 Day 30: CAMBOY MOLLOY My special baby, my favourite child, my magnus opus, my sweet cheese, and somehow my fic with the absolute worst summary. I will always be so proud of this one. 😭 archiveofourown.org/works/578667... #iwtvfanfic ##DevilsMinion

Fic summary:

There’s a beat of supremely awkward silence.

"I've offended you,” Armand says. “My apologies. I crossed a line.”

Yeah, you fucking did.

“No, that’s – it’s fine. I’ll just need my accountant to crunch the numbers on that one, is all.”

Jesus H. Christ, Molloy, what are you doing, you absolute nutjob?

In which Daniel's best customer asks to meet in person.

🦷 Armandaniel fic rec of the day! 🦷 Everyone please go read Exfoliation by @hummingbeeooo.bsky.social right now! It's a masterpiece. Also, Daniel does something that made me gasp out loud and made my kid ask if I was okay when Bee first told me about it. 😂 archiveofourown.org/works/85030096

Fic summary:

Daniel stutters and stumbles, flails for a moment, his own fang floating around in his mouth; his gag reflex makes the first appearance since it went dormant all the way back during the Nixon administration.

“Daniel?” Armand is on him in a second, eyes wide and alert. “Daniel, what’s wrong?”

People slow down and stare, concerned about the senior citizen possibly having a medical episode in the middle of the sidewalk; Armand pulls him aside; Daniel finally manages to spit the damn fang out into his hand.

“What the fuck?”

Armand coos, a happy beam on his face. “Oh, look, beloved, you’ve exfoliated! Congratulations!”

“What the fuck?!”

Or: Daniel finds out fledglings get "baby fangs" and lose the first set; Armand is a proud maker, totally normal and reasonable about his fledgling.

And I’m sure it’s all poorly written so far. Editing is going to be hell. But I’m really passionate about this project so I persist
