The most recent point-in-time count says there are 5,363 people experiencing homelessness in DC. As of Aug 18, 2026, there were 4,629 National Guard personnel assigned to DC according to Joint Task Force. Can’t wrap my head around how gov’t is prioritizing making DC even more a police state.

The thing that pisses me off most about Royce White is that he was given so many chances for his anxiety and abused the system repeatedly. Royce couldn't fly on planes due to his anxiety. He requested a bus to travel between games. They gave it to him. Then he stopped showing up anyway a month in.
