What is at stake when Floyd Schofield and Lucas Bahdi enter the ring Saturday night for the vacant WBA lightweight title? Before we begin, let’s outline the paths of both unbeaten contenders. Schofield (19-0, 13 KOs), 24, signed with Golden Boy Promotions in 2022. He found himself in main event spots earlier in his career, showcasing talent and exciting knockouts. There were hurdles, too. After nearly sleepwalking his way to title contention, Schofield was dropped by tough journeyman Rene Tellez Giron in their bout. Schofield would win, but it raised questions.

Golden Boy Promotions heads to Chicago this week to host a WBA lightweight title fight live from the Wintrust Arena on DAZN. Floyd Schofield (19-0, 13 KOs) will face Lucas Bahdi (20-0, 15 KOs) for the vacant WBA title, with the winner potentially seeing major fights at 135 in 2027. It’s been over 15 months since we last saw Schofield stop Tevin Farmer in the first round of their fight. For one reason or another, Schofield has not been active, and this fight will mark the second consecutive year in which he gloves up only once.

Money in the Bank's fight week officially launched with this evening's 'go-home' edition of WWE Monday Night RAW emanating from the Enterprise Center in St. Louis, Missouri. Legends and Hall of Famers, both current and future, have competed in MITB ladder matches, but this year's men's MITB feels special. That is because four of the six competitors represent the brightest elements of WWE's future, with Penta, Bron Breakker, Trick Williams, and Je'Von Evans all competing for a title shot. The field is now full after all the triple threat qualifiers wrapped up last week, so the hope is that we get a full segment with all six MITB competitors to promote the match—including CM Punk and Kevin Owens.

American boxing has found itself in a peculiar position over the past 18 months—particularly when you look at its promoters. If you had to identify a single factor driving that shift, it would be the direction Top Rank has taken. The company didn’t just lose ground; it slipped from being the leader of the pack to merely blending into it. You are probably asking yourself, How could one promotional entity have that much of an impact? Easy. Top Rank has long been regarded as the sport’s standard-bearer. And when a leader—whether in corporate America, professional sports, or even in the military—can no longer set the example, it creates immediate confusion among those who once relied on that leadership.

On Friday, November 13, ProBoxTV’s Championship Series is back featuring world-ranked super lightweights, Bryan Flores, of Las Vegas via Mexico, and unbeaten Panamanian Jose Nunez in a 10-round main-event battle of hungry contenders risking their lofty ratings to slug it out, live on ProBoxTV (8:00 pm ET/5:00 pm PT) from the El Paso County Coliseum in El Paso, Texas. In the 10-round junior lightweight co-main event, IBF No. 14-, and WBC No. 10-ranked Tsendbaatar Erdenebat, 15-0, 6 KOs, will face WBC No. 7-ranked Muhammad Yaqubov, 23-1-1, 12 KOs, in a 10-round battle of hard-nosed top contenders at 130 lbs.

What is next for Ben Whittaker after such an underwhelming performance against Conor Wallace? Whittaker (13-0-1, 9 KOs) won a 12-round unanimous decision over Wallace. The scores were wide, but the last impression was bad for Whittaker. After coasting through most of the rounds, he limped to the finish line, got buzzed in the tenth round, and at times barely looked like he would make it out of the final round. Add to that, Whittaker’s arrogance was on full display, mocking and belittling Wallace in the early rounds (fair play, since he did the same at the developmental levels).

TEAM 2000X frontman defeated Pro Wrestling NOAH ace Kaito Kiyomiya to win the N-1 VICTORY 2026 tournament at Yoyogi National Gymnasium on Sunday. The Real Rebel OZAWA, 29, a former NJPW dojo trainee, tormented Kiyomiya, 30, to lift the N-1 trophy for the first time and in only his second attempt, having withdrawn last year after the opening match due to injury. Kiyomiya's long-running feud with his arch-rival dates back to November 2024, when OZAWA betrayed his then-All Rebellion faction teammate to join the unruly TEAM 2000X stable. The former three-time GHC Heavyweight champion lost his title to OZAWA at…

There have been rumours floating around that Turki Alalshikh plans to sell a major chunk of The Ring Magazine. Its former owner, Oscar De La Hoya, isn’t very happy about the alleged decision and what has become of the once-prestigious magazine. As he sat down for the latest segment of Clap Back Thursday,  De La Hoya shed light on the rumours and on the current state of the magazine. “So, I’ve been collecting information for the last six weeks for the ultimate clap back. I’ve been listening and watching, and you won’t believe some of the sh*t I had to deal with, man.

With the announcement of the long-awaited Tyson Fury (36-2-1, 25 KOs) vs Anthony Joshua (30-4, 27 KOs) showdown, both fighters have been making elaborate plans for how they want the fight to pan out. In fact, Joshua doesn’t just want to showcase a ‘great’ performance; he wants to create history. Their recent presser saw Joshua rather charged at the prospect of potentially becoming the first person to KO Fury. “I’m willing to take and take punch after punch and keep moving forward until my hands raised. I’m looking forward to it.

WWE Friday Night SmackDown was in Denver, Colorado, at Ball Arena, where the final qualifiers for next week's 'Money in the Bank' PLE—six men and six women in each of the ladder matches meant to award the winner(s) a 'cash-in contract.' The men's match is arguably the most story-driven qualifier of all the other triple threat matches, as Owens' title aspirations tie into his beef with CM Punk. They all have beef with champion Sami Zayn, and yet, he was responsible for getting Johnny Gargano into the final triple threat match qualifier that includes Owens and Cody Rhodes.

Diego Pacheco and Darius Fulghum will clash in a crucial Super-Middleweight showdown on Saturday November 14 at Dignity Health Sports Park in Carson, California, the latest headline bout of TNT Sports and DAZN’s “The Fight,” the new monthly live boxing series, and will be broadcast co-exclusively in the U.S. on TNT, truTV and DAZN and worldwide on DAZN. Pacheco (26-0 19 KOs) returns to the vaunted War Grounds venue for the second time this year, after stopping Immanuwel Aleem in the 11th round of their clash in June to retain the WBO International and WBC Silver titles he defends against Fulghum.

One of boxing’s most entertaining fighters, Ben Whittaker, is set to face Conor Wallace on Saturday night after both fighters came in under the 175-pound light heavyweight limit. The fight features an IBF mandatory contender spot up for grabs, giving Whittaker (12-0-1, 9 KOs) and Wallace (17-1, 12 KOs) enough incentive to deliver their best performances on Saturday night. Whittaker is the heavy betting favorite, so Wallace will have to expose his opponent and shock the world. Will this be another Whittaker show, or will a new contender in Wallace be born?

Welterweight Demontaze “Juicy” Duncan returns Friday night in his hometown of Louisville, Kentucky, at the Triple Crown Pavilion. Duncan, 24, enters on a seven-fight win streak, with six of those wins coming by stoppage. The local favorite Duncan (15-1, 14 KOs), known as the “People’s Champ,” will face journeyman veteran Jerome Clayton. His trainer and promoter, Nicholas Bareis, is putting the bout together, and he has been a lifelong influence on the fighter. “Demontaze Duncan represents everything superstars of boxing are about,” Nicholas Bareis told FightsATW. “He comes from Louisville, he fights for Louisville, and he brings an energy to the building that people have to experience in person.

In the amateurs, Nathan and Elijah Lugo were formidable foes who collected national titles the way some collect sports cards. It seemed like in the late 2010s, if a tournament was happening, the name Lugo would be a lock to be in the finals, if not winning it outright. Fast-forward to Saturday, when the brothers will fight in separate bouts on an Apex Promotions card, the entity started by their father and trainer, Mike Lugo, at the Cobb County Civic Center in Marietta, Georgia, the hometown of all three. Nathan…

It’s been an interesting few weeks for WBO middleweight champion Denzel Bentley, with everything coming to a head today as Zuffa Boxing announced he's signed a multi-fight deal with the promotional company, along with details about his next fight. Bentley will defend his WBO title (pending a WBO decision) against Shane Mosley Jr. in the co-main event to Chris Billam-Smith vs. Cheavon Clarke on November 7. These fights will be part of Zuffa Boxing 12, which streams live from the Copper Box Arena in London, England. As mentioned, it’s been an interesting few weeks for Bentley, who withdrew from a fight that went through the WBO purse-bid process.

“TNA Thursday Night iMPACT” continued the road to “Bound For Glory.” The Hardys looked for a fight after being ambushed by Joseph Sawyer and Samuel Shaw twice. Tasha Steelz also made a shocking heel turn and now runs Order 4 alongside Special Agent Zero, who took out former leader Mustafa Ali, Jason Hotch, John Skyler, and even Mila Moore. Tribute to PAC A tribute graphic for the late Benjamin “PAC” Satterley appeared before the show got started. Matthew Rehwoldt and Tom Hannifan shared their condolences to the Satterley family during the opening match.

Light heavyweight contender Ben Whittaker doesn’t lack confidence, and at Thursday’s press conference before facing Conor Wallace on Saturday night, Whittaker assures that he will shine bright like a diamond. Whittaker (12-0-1, 9 KOs) vs. Wallace (17-1, 12 KOs) will stream live on DAZN from the Utilita Arena in Birmingham, England, with the winner firmly securing the #1 position in the IBF’s light heavyweight rankings. With so much on the line, Whittaker doesn’t feel the pressure and looks to put on a show, as he has already done in his young career.

Imagine this: two of the biggest names in British boxing are gearing up to lock horns in what will undoubtedly be one of the biggest (and highly anticipated) showdowns in recent years. It is only natural for fans to hope for some juicy drama to add to the hype. However, in the case of Tyson Fury (36-2-1, 25 KOs) vs Anthony Joshua (30-4, 27 KOs), the drama seems to have shifted to two other people, Eddie Hearn and Dana White. Talking to the Stomping Ground, Hearn had quite a mouthful to say about Turki and the ever-progressing fiasco.

Some nights in professional wrestling are built around championships, matches, and momentum toward the next PPV/PLE. Last night was built around looking toward the entrance and knowing someone who should be there never will be again. AEW Dynamite came live from the Petersen Events Center in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, but the building carried a different weight because PAC/Neville — Benjamin Satterley — could not walk through that curtain. For years we knew the glare, the intensity, the violence, and the impossible athleticism. We knew the man who could make any match feel important, the man gravity forgot, and the King of the Cruiserweight.

The biggest fight in British boxing history was officially announced on Wednesday in London, as Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua finally faced off to announce their WBA heavyweight title fight on Friday, December 11, exclusively on Netflix. Fury (36-2-1, 25 KOs) and Joshua (30-4, 27 KOs) have been at each other’s throats for over 10 years, and ahead of the press conference, fans expected fireworks. Instead, it felt like two businessmen being complimentary, and the anticipated tension was replaced with laughs and more-than-usual talking from the chairman of the General Entertainment Authority, …

What is at stake for Ben Whittaker this weekend – well, everything. Whittaker (12-0-1, 9 KOs) faces Conor Wallace (17-1, 12 KOs) on Saturday in Birmingham, England. The sticking point of the bout: the winner will become the IBF light heavyweight number one contender. Currently, Dmitry Bivol holds the IBF title and is set to return in December to face Callum Smith. Whittaker, for those unaware, was a star of the 2020 Olympic Games for Team Great Britain. The two standouts from that class were Whittaker and gold medalist Lauren Price, who looked a tier above their peers and ready for stardom as pros.

What is at stake on Friday night when junior bantamweight Naomy Cardenas vs. Michelle Timko in El Paso, Texas? The fight card will capture the interest of boxing addicts looking to get a fix this weekend. With the major fight of the week being a British offering, it is likely that many fans will ignore it. So, here is a chance for those domestically getting a televised fight card to shine. While boxing tends to have lulls in this new era, a week like this could organically produce new talent.

After a heated weekend during which the fight was nearly canceled, Tyson Fury (36-2-1, 25 KOs) and Anthony Joshua (30-4, 27 KOs) arrived in London, England, on Tuesday ahead of Wednesday’s highly anticipated press conference. Netflix sent out a press release announcing the arrival of the two heavyweights, who fulfilled photo obligations on Tuesday and met face-to-face on Wednesday to formally announce their December 11 fight in Cardiff, Wales, live and exclusively on Netflix. “The Press Conference will also be streamed live at 6:00pm BST / 1:00pm ET/ 10:00 am PT on…

What is next for Liam Davies after defeating Nathaniel Collins on Saturday? Davies (19-1, 10 KOs) suffered his first defeat to Shabaz Masoud at junior featherweight nearly two years ago, then promptly moved up in weight. Since his first loss, he has handed Irish Olympian Kurt Walker his first defeat and has now dished out a one-sided beating to Collins. Davies is showing promise of being a world-class boxer, after all, but some are writing him off as a potential British domestic-level journeyman. The problem is simple: featherweight is the new middleweight, and that isn’t a good thing.

Omari Jones takes center stage Friday evening ahead of his homecoming headline bout against Northern California veteran Alan Sanchez at the Caribe Royale in Orlando. Jones (7-0, 4 KOs) was the only Olympic bronze medalist for Team USA at the 2024 Olympic Games. He is also often confused with another Bay Area boxer, Amari Jones, whose name is nearly identical to his own. Both are very good fighters who compete in different weight classes and have different styles. Jones, a welterweight, is on pace to win Prospect of the Year honors, for those who care about that sort of thing.

WWE Monday Night RAW started on a somber note tonight as the WWE acknowledged the sudden passing of Benjamin Satterley, known as "Neville" in WWE (he wrestled his last match as PAC this weekend, the character he has portrayed for nearly a decade). Fans of the British phenom have poured their thoughts and prayers onto socials while wrestlers shared experiences that solidified his reputation as a pure-hearted individual. The show was at the Fiserv Forum in Milwaukee, Wisconsin—home of the NL Central Champions, the Brewers—as Money in the Bank looms.

What is next for Johnny Fisher? The big-ticket seller made his Zuffa Boxing debut, winning a lackluster majority decision over Michael Pirotton (12-3, 6 KOs) in the U.K. The bout left many with more questions than answers. First, let’s explain who Fisher (15-1, 12 KOs) is. He is a likable fighter who is often featured in social media posts alongside his father, who was unable to garner support in their community. Fisher’s unpretentious attitude made him a hit among many. He might not have the talent of others, but he will give it an honest try.

What is next for Sam Goodman? On Sunday, Goodman (23-1, 8 KOs) won the interim IBF junior featherweight title against Ryosuke Nishida (11-2, 2 KOs) in Japan. The elephant in the room is obvious: Naoya Inoue. Inoue has been the undisputed champion since 2023. Inoue has been on a sabbatical since defeating Junto Nakatani in a battle of pound-for-pound greats, but ironically, it might be Inoue’s most impressive year since the magic of 2023. Will Goodman face Inoue, the elusive fight that got away from him? Who knows, but it almost certainly doesn’t seem like it will be next unless…

One of Matchroom Boxing’s most exciting fighters returns on Saturday, live from the Ultilita Arena in Birmingham, England, on DAZN. Undefeated light heavyweight Ben Whittaker will face Conor Wallace (17-1, 12 KOs) in a scheduled 12-round bout. The 29-year-old Whittaker (12-0-1, 9 KOs) is coming off a sensational second-round knockout over Richard Rivera in June, which made the rounds on social media. Saturday will mark his third fight in 2026 as he continues to climb the light heavyweight rankings. His opponent, Wallace, has only one loss, a majority decision to Leti Leti in 2021.

What is next for Takuma Inoue, and why does it make so much sense for it to be Jesse “Bam” Rodriguez? Inoue (23-2, 5 KOs) defeated Tenshin Nasukawa (8-2, 3 KOs) for the second time in one calendar year on Saturday night in Japan. With the victory, Inoue made his second WBC bantamweight title defense since defeating Nasukawa for the belt in November. Inoue is better known as the younger brother of future Hall of Famer Naoya Inoue. Unlike his big bro, Takuma is better known for using speed to defeat his foes rather than relying on timing and power.

Takuma Inoue outpointed Tenshin Nasukawa for the second time in 10 months to retain his WBC world bantamweight title in an absorbing all-Japanese main event in Tokyo. The challenger, former kickboxing kingpin Nasukawa, 28, suffered his second loss as a pro as Inoue scored a unanimous decision, with one judge giving him the nod 114-113 and two judges scoring the fight 116-111 for the champion. Inoue, 30, who was flanked by his superstar brother Naoya in his corner, recovered from a seventh-round knockdown as a Nasukawa left hand floored the former, to make a second title defense in 2026.

AEW 'All Out' 2026 was live from NOW Arena in Chicago, Illinois, featuring a nine-match card with a main event one year in the making as AEW World Champion Will Ospreay defends his title against the man who mentored him to the title after breaking his neck in August of 2025. The sellout Chicago crowd showed up early for the two pre-show matches an hour before showtime. The card was filled with amazing matches, though there were hopes of seeing a couple of potential debuts from the hot free agents currently occupying the open market.

We have arrived at AEW (All Elite Wrestling) ‘All Out’ 2026 pay-per-view in Chicago, Illinois, following a huge ‘All In’ event in London, England. The main event between AEW World Champion Will Ospreay and Jon Moxley has been built up as a must-see match. The story has been well developed, and fans expect these two veterans to deliver in a big way. The other huge match is the AEW tag team title match, with champions Christian Cage and Cope facing FTR and The Young Bucks. This has a classic feel to it.

Boxing aficionados have been on the edge of their seats after the announcement of the long-awaited Tyson Fury (36-2-1, 25 KOs) vs Anthony Joshua (30-4, 27 KOs) showdown. However, according to Fury, a few unreasonable promotional decisions might mean that the wait ends in disappointment. Taking to X, Fury announced that his fight against Joshua might not see the light of day, and Eddie Hearn was to blame. "Breaking news, Anthony Joshua and Eddie Hearn are trying to pull out the fight. They're saying they're not going to fight now.

It has barely been two weeks since Ryan Garcia (26-2, 21 KOs) retained his WBC welterweight title by knocking out Conor Benn (25-2, 14 KOs) in the second round. However, it sure looks like he is itching to step into the ring once again. Taking to X, Garcia opened up about his plans to fight, once again, at the end of the year. "I’m trying to get this fight done for the year. I’m on the hunt. December, I’m throwing hands. Then right to May,” he wrote. Garcia wants to fight again before the end of 2026 because he wants to stay active and does not want to wait until his planned blockbuster showdown with Teofimo Lopez in 2027.

The highly anticipated rematch between WBC bantamweight champion Takuma Inoue (22-2, 5 KOs) and Tenshin Nasukawa (8-1, 3 KOs) is now official following Saturday’s weigh-in. Both fighters came in under the bantamweight limit of 118 pounds, and the fight will stream live on Sunday on DAZN. Inoue is a 2-1 betting favorite, as this one should be just as competitive as the first. Who will come out victorious? Takuma Inoue vs Tenshin Nasukawa 2 Weigh-In Results Takuma Inoue (117.7 lbs.) vs. Tenshin Nasukawa (117.9 lbs.) Ryosuke Nishida (121.9 lbs.) vs. Sam Goodman (121.7 lbs.)

WWE Friday Night SmackDown was in Indianapolis tonight at the Gainbridge Fieldhouse, where qualifiers for 'Money in the Bank' continued, while the program between U.S. champion Trick Williams and former champ Baron Corbin saw its finale fought in a steel cage. We learned during the show that the live crowd got a special pre-show promo from Randy Orton. "The Viper" hijacked the pre-SD particulars by grabbing a mic and demanding Michael Cole interview him before the night was over, claiming that he had 'no say' in the matter. THINGS GET A LITTLE RANDY…

No scale fails in Los Angeles, California, earlier today as Mai Soliman (10-2, 6 KOs) and Maria Micheo Santizo (14-7-1, 8 KOs) both came under the super flyweight limit of 115 pounds, making Saturday’s main event official. Soliman is making her U.S. debut and held her training camp for this fight in San Diego with Eddy Reynoso. She brings her all-action style to the Commerce Casino, live on UFC Fight Pass, with Santizo standing in the way of another title shot. Who will come out on top on Saturday night?

September 25, 2026 – Zuffa Boxing returns to London’s Copper Box Arena on Saturday, November 7, for a 10-round cruiserweight main event between former amateur rivals and current top contenders Chris Billam-Smith and Chev Clarke. Fans are encouraged to register their interest early for the best chance to secure tickets via ZuffaBoxing.com. Tickets go on sale to the general public on Friday, October 2. ZUFFA BOXING 12: BILLAM-SMITH VS. CLARKE features a crossroads cruiserweight battle with world title implications. Billam-Smith (22-2, 14 KOs), from Bournemouth, England, is a former world champion who has won two fights since losing his title.

Zuffa Boxing 11 is now official for Saturday night at the Copper Box Arena in Middlesex, England, as heavyweights Johnny Fisher (14-1, 12 KOs) and Michael Pirotton (12-2, 6 KOs) stepped on the scales this afternoon. Fisher is a heavy betting favorite to win on Saturday, but as we have seen in boxing, especially in the heavyweight division, you just never know. This fight is a homecoming for Fisher, and a big win here would position him for another big fight in 2027. Who will come out on top? Johnny Fisher vs Michael Pirotton Weigh-In Results…

Women’s super flyweight contender Mai Soliman will make her U.S. debut Saturday night at the “Championing for Mental Health 3” event, live on UFC Fight Pass. Her opponent is Maria Micheo Santizo (14-7-1, 8 KOs), and they headline the card with a WBC title shot on the line for the winner. The 28-year-old Soliman (10-2, 6 KOs), from Cairo, Egypt, but residing in Sydney, Australia, was introduced to fight fans worldwide in May when she fought on the undercard of Oleksandr Usyk vs. Rico Verhoeven in front of the pyramids in Egypt.

Kiria Tapia hopes to win the first of many titles on Saturday, even if it isn’t a world title. Tapia faces Juliana Vanesa Basualdo in her hometown of San Juan, Puerto Rico. The 10-round women’s junior lightweight bout, hosted by Salita Promotions, will stream on Wynn Records Network. Tapia (10-0, 1 KO) returns for her third outing of 2026. At 36, Tapia, who waited to turn after four Olympic cycles, is now close to achieving her dream (kind of). A regional WBO title will be on the line. It might be insignificant to fight fans who only look at world titles as accomplishments, but for Tapia, it is a major milestone.

Boxing fans have long waited to see two of Britain’s biggest names, Tyson Fury (36-2-1, 25 KOs) and Anthony Joshua (30-4, 27 KOs), lock horns inside the ring. And now, it looks like that wait might have finally borne fruit. Taking to X, Turki Alalshikh announced news that British boxing fans (and boxing aficionados at large) have long wanted to hear. “I can now confirm that Fury vs Joshua will be coming to the UK, as I promised British boxing fans. The time for talking is over,” he wrote.

Who would have thought that a 20-year-old would turn a life hardship into a hard-hitting boxing career while carrying the name “Moo”? Meet welterweight Tyreem Haywood. A 20-year-old from Philadelphia with a perfect record of 8-0 (8 KOs). This Saturday, he puts that record on the line against a solid veteran, Abram Martinez (12-3-1, 10 KOs), at the 2300 Arena in Philly. The card will stream for free on Rising Star Promotions’ YouTube page starting at 7 PM EST/ 4 PM PST. “My main goal is to keep fighting and keep winning,” Haywood told

TNA Wrestling was live for “Thursday Night iMPACT” at the Boeing Center at Tech Port in San Antonio. Leon Slater opened the show, and he had a message for reigning TNA World Champion Nic Nemeth. The Hardys learned that their attackers were two familiar faces who were a part of WWE’s Wyatt Sicks faction. There was also a four-way No. 1 contender match to determine the next challenger for the TNA Knockouts TV Title, and a three-way TNA International Championship match. Plus, Daria Rae has been suspended from her role as an authority figure in…

Dmitry Salita is looking to take Henry Lebron from a contender to a titleholder.  On Saturday night, Salita Promotions and Universal Promotions will put on a show from San Juan, Puerto Rico, headlined by the junior lightweight bout between Lebron and Derlyn Hernandez-Gerardo. Lebron recently signed with Salita Promotions. Hernandez is trying to make it an encore after knocking out Abisael Cotto, who signed with Salita Promotions earlier this year. Lebron (21-0, 11 KOs) last fought in January, stopping Juan Tapia. His career-best wins are over Christopher “Pitufo” Diaz, William Foster III, and Andy Vences.

Daniel Dubois (23-3, 22 KOs) and Fabio Wardley (20-1-1, 19 KOs) will meet again on Saturday, October 17, 2026, five months after their first encounter, at The O2 Arena in London, with the former defending his WBO heavyweight world title. To say that Wardley is looking to send out an explosive message on fight night would be an understatement. As he sat face to face with Dubois during DAZN’s “Face Off,” moderated by Ade Oladipo, Wardley’s warning was clear: ‘Don’t expect to see the last rounds.’ “Yeah, look, I’ve not made a career out of going to points.

Let’s look at what is at stake this week with Takuma Inoue (22-2, 5 KOs) vs. Tenshin Nasukawa (8-1, 3 KOs). The two will battle for Inoue’s WBC bantamweight title on Sunday at the Tokyo Arena in Tokyo, Japan. The bout will stream on DAZN starting at 1 AM PST/ 4 AM EST. The story itself might not be about any of the fights, but about how Japanese boxing doesn’t get the same attention it did a year ago. Naoya Inoue, Takuma’s older brother, is nearing the end of a Hall of Fame career, and Kenshiro Teraji’s reckless style seems to have caught up with him.

The fight that boxing circles have been discussing for the past ten years will take place on Friday, December 11, live and exclusively on Netflix. Tyson Fury (36-2-1, 25 KOs) will face Anthony Joshua (30-4, 27 KOs) at Principality Stadium, which can hold up to 80,000 spectators for a boxing event. On Thursday morning, Netflix sent out a press release officially announcing the fight and confirming that the press conference is set for September 30 in London. The chairman of the General Entertainment Authority for Saudi Arabia, Turki Alalshikh, had this to say about the announced fight: “

AEW All Out 2026 is three days away, but nobody in Fishers, Indiana, could afford to look past Wednesday night. Inside the Fishers Event Center, Swerve Strickland and The New Level had to defend the World Trios Championship against The Demand just to keep their place on Saturday's card. Across the same canvas, AEW World Champion Will Ospreay stood across the ring from Jon Moxley one last time before the match of all matches, a man who made their title fight painfully personal. That is what gave this Dynamite its importance: the biggest show of the week was still ahead, yet the road to it could change beneath their feet.
