NEW DEVLOG! If you want to know what other people did in their playthroughs, or get a summary of the winding web that is Scarlet Hollow's narrative structure :] Shout-out to all our players for helping us balance the game during our Early Access period, your survey data has been SO helpful 🙏

Was annoyed having to come up with what to eat all the time, so I decided to do the Julie and Julia thing where I have to make everything in a cookbook. So I've been workin my way through this one, it's sooo fun and has made me no longer fear making noodles from scratch or pickling >:]

Recent food I have made: dubu kimchi, fresh hand-cut pasta that was made into a not-photogenic carbonara, gnocchi from scratch, and kimbap ✌️

Dubu kimchi: a ring of tofu slices around a pile of sautéed kimchi with trumpet mushrooms.

A skillet of gnocchi with mushrooms and thyme.

Basically, wanting to assume the best of Tabitha is a throughline here!

And the game focuses a lot on how circumstances can shape people-- this dimensionality to Stella is an exploration of that. She was always someone who tried to see the best in Tabby, despite how problematic she was, and this is that behavior stretched to its limit

Stella as a character is driven by connection with people, as well as her attachment to the past. She's flexible on morality according to those things, and additionally, Tabitha left out a few key details that make all of it easier for Stella to swallow (there're clues in the text that hint at this)

It's been 23 hours since we and @sunsetvisitor.studio announced Prove You're Human, and it already has over 40,000 wishlists. People *want* narrative games that tackle difficult and human subject matter, and both of our studios will keep bringing them to you. Thank you for making this possible!

Check out the little clown baby I made >:]

An art doll with a skullish head and stitched eyes, dressed in an elaborate black and gold jester's outfit.

And the shelf itself is some kind of waterproof foam. At first I was going to build my own, but in the end I did not trust myself to make something waterproof enough 😬So I ordered from a local place that makes em!

There's been no leakage, thankfully! When it needs watering, I manually transfer tank water to the reservoir that's part of the wall, so I control the flow of water to make sure there's no spilling. So far, so good 🙏
