Remembering to put this down: Meli with an abacus on his desk that’s made of little terrariums/celestial bodies in glass beads. The bigger the numbers-place, the bigger the civilization, and the smaller the inhabitants. They’d still be in the same relative size on the abacus, thanks to the beads.
