Automod has this listed as spam, but it's a legitimate project that I'm very excited for. Lots of familiar names in it. I'm not usually a fan of trading cards but I'm super keen to grab a few packs of these.

Went to the Interstella 5555 screening last night and they had a QR code up for a silly Snapchat filter. Glad I got to go see it in the cinema, had never actually watched the whole thing through before.

Oh yeah the poster also helps

A flier for the Adelaide Community Meet-ups Christmas meet up at 7pm on Saturday November 30th.
Text has location set as the Little red door address 182 Hindley Street Adelaide SA 5000 and the image is a silhouette of a city scape at night time in purple and green colour scheme, to with Santa and his reindeer crossing past the moon.

It would also include the free to air networks on demand services like 7 plus, a bunch of people my age use that to watch the kitchen shows. It is currently the third most popular app in Aus on Android devices according to the play store too

I'm pretty sure he said at one point that he likes the movie ending better than the one he wrote in the book

The Minecraft movie having the line "as a child I yearned for the mines" has actually given me interest in going to see it. 10/10 line

One of the little bits I found while clearing the old tweet list was screenshots from Miitomo, I really enjoyed that app, pity it only stayed up for such a short period of time

A screenshot from discontinued Nintendo app Miitomo, featuring Aavimus' mii, with a smaller copy of itself standing together with crossed arms and an angry expression. The caption in the image reads "Don't talk to me or my son ever again". It is an old meme from around the time that Miitomo was available.

Just finished clearing out everything from Twitter, went through it all 1 by 1. Lots of good memories there, but I don't want it all going to train Elons AI so it had to be wiped

Ayyy good to see more people getting onto Pathfinder 2e

I'm just happy people actually see my silly posts without having to give $37AUD to a megalomaniac to boost it past the bots (that is not an exaggeration, go look at the sub fees)

Found an absolute gem at Target, a classic Australian Christmas tale.

A hardcover copy of "Always room for Christmas Pud", by Australian comedy trio Aunty Donna, with illustrations by James Fosdike

I think I know the exact one you are talking about, super unhinged responses to valid criticism and threats of legal action to try and get the review taken down?

Aavimus @aavimus.bsky.social · 11/11/2024

I just give them the old 1 star review on Google when it happens, doubt it's going to do much but if enough people do it they may learn

Why is it literally always real estate agents that ignore no junk mail signs, everyone else gets it. They must assume that their fliers aren't consider junk, but it certainly is.

One of the things I'm really loving about this platform is not constantly having posts disappear in front of my eyes and not being able to find them again

060

Aavimus @aavimus.bsky.social · 07/11/2024

I think it's definitely time with the problematic ownership of the other platform to entirely stop using it over there, I was going to try to support people on both platforms, but no point encouraging people to linger in that hellhole when we can build something so much better here.

What my steam set up looks like when it's not the mess it currently is, complete with Flareon to guard it

Aavimus' stream set up consisting of a desktop PC, two monitors (one in vertical set up), a Nintendo switch dock, controller stand, mouse and keyboard, stream deck XL and Keylight plus side light on a table. A Super Mario Brothers desk mat and a build a bear flareon sitting on top of the PC. Plus of course a container of Aavis required bikkies

Throwback to the time I was inspired by Chat and Wario to make garlic bikkies. They were a wild ride, I enjoyed them for a bit but I do not recommend

So the biggest thing with parcel times for me was getting them sent to a parcel collect address instead of my actual house. I figure that I'll miss 90% of deliveries anyway so skip the extra step of having them "try" to deliver it and it will usually be at the post office first thing in the morning
