Konami really here trying to make my personal GotY another Metroidvania, huh? The demo for Castlevania is SO good!

I have no words, it's amazing! Aave has never looked so cool!

I had the best day of my life on Sunday. I got to ride that high for 1.5 days before someone grabbed me by the collar and slammed me back down to the ground.

I still can't walk without shoes on, but still, worth it

Okay, but look at this amazing crew surrounding me (missing 2 of them here unfortunately). I don't know where I'd be without any of you! Thank you for making the weekend at least 100x more special! 💞💕💓

I wish more than that, but I will not specify.

Started FFXIII again since it's both been 17 years and there's some implied XIII influence on Evercold. Jeez this game is BRAINLESS. Every battle, just *A A A A A* (auto battle)

Me watching Carnage's Tokon demonstration video "Ah! Is that Howard Jones doing the vocals for his theme? AAAH!" Yep, still don't know how Carnage plays

I support whatever you'd like to do. I know that forcing yourself through MSQ makes it less fun though. Do it when YOU want 😊 (but if you even want to do some Bozja on the side, I'm like right here)

SquigglyGhost 👻 @aave.thois.day · 15/07/2026

What keeps me going? Everyday is an experience. I gain new knowledge that I didn't have yesterday. I see new things that I didn't know existed. There's an endless amount of that in the world. It'd be a shame to miss out on it all. That's why I never want it to end.

I see we're shaming people for using new technology in a way single minded people think it can be used, whether someone is actually using it for that or not. Cool. Technology will halt because anyone who uses smart glasses is a pervert now, no matter what they use them for.

Still in hot take territory here, I'm at the level 98 quests in Dawntrail, and I still enjoy it. In fact, the one small part of the story where Wuk Lamat was not present so far was really the only part of the story I wanted to quit at....

000

SquigglyGhost 👻 @aave.thois.day · 24/06/2026

I'm failing really hard at finishing games before another I've been eyeing comes out. I guess I'm enjoying what I'm playing too much.

From what I gather, this is a hot take, but I'm enjoying Dawntrail AND Wuk Lamat... What have any of them done wrong? (I'm only halfway through the expansion. Things can change I'm sure)

Why when a remake of something is announced do people complain that the voice cast is being replaced? You want to hear the same actors reading the same lines? You have the original still. Let someone else have the opportunity.

Plot points that will ALWAYS be lost on me: they're an irredeemable PoS bent on destroying everything, but they're family. You should cut 'em some slack (bonus points if they never knew they were related until the very end).

So 13 years later, you recognize your dog whom you've been separated from since he was a puppy, but not the only silver-blue haired girl you grew up with? While you yourself are recognizable to some Cid you've never even met? (Who is also amazing even though I've only known him 5 minutes)

I had heard the theories and everything, but until watching Return of the King last night, I had no idea just how much Frodo did not know Legolas, excitedly greeting everyone entering the room by name at the end but with Legolas, he's just like "oho! 😃" Before excitedly greeting Aragorn by name.

I've been to Plainfield, IL like... 5 times in my life? Yet somehow anytime it comes up on Geoguessr, I can guess it's Plainfield with 100% accuracy. Why is that? Does it really have that specific of a look?

Anyone ever notice how supporters of the current administration just sling insults like high school bullies? Not saying anyone who peaked in high school is one of them, but these people definitely have nothing left to look forward to in their lives.

SquigglyGhost 👻 @aave.thois.day · 04/01/2026

Team Cherry, there is a lot of sad happenings in Hollow Knight, but this by far takes it. Not okay. You know what you did.

000

SquigglyGhost 👻 @aave.thois.day · 16/12/2025

I have been informed that there is a secret bench in what I deemed to be the worst thing Team Cherry has ever designed in Silksong, and I owe them an apology. Unfortunately, I have already finished that area, but it could've been so much easier 😭

SquigglyGhost 👻 @aave.thois.day · 13/12/2025

Game Awards comes around, a game wins many awards, and suddenly it's the worst game ever made, everything else that was nominated deserved it more. Stay internet, Internet.

000

SquigglyGhost 👻 @aave.thois.day · 09/12/2025

If Silksong or Clair Obscur don't win GotY this year, I will have questions.

000

SquigglyGhost 👻 @aave.thois.day · 09/12/2025

Even if Silksong doesn't win Game of the Year this year, all the games up for it this year are more than deserving of the award. But Silksong is just such a well designed game, it's definitely my personal GotY (except Bilewater. Team Cherry should be ashamed of that atrocity they designed)
