Global South nations that do not possess nuclear weapons should collectively purchase some nukes and submarines and have them lurk off the US east and west coasts as a deterrent against nuclear strikes by the US. I hope Iran is already doing this.

Serious question: How do nations that lack nuclear weapons protect themselves from a predatory and evil nuclear superpower such as the United States without surrendering their sovereignty, when the US is likely to use its nukes knowing other nuclear powers will not get involved?
