Aaron Parecki @aaronpk.com · 03/01/2025Just made eight weeks of waffles, going into the freezer now. Took almost 2 hours to cook the 8 batches. I should really get a second waffle iron cause it would literally halve the amount of time this takes. 240
Aaron Parecki @aaronpk.com · 26/12/2024We still don't have power from the street yet so in the mean time, I wired an Anker battery into the breaker panel to power all the lights in the house 250
Aaron Parecki @aaronpk.com · 03/12/2024Just installed my first Lutron Caseta switch. Going to slowly convert all these switches over in the next few weeks. I do like how the switch is silent, no sound of a relay snapping. 250
Aaron Parecki @aaronpk.com · 27/11/2024I've been digitizing old family VHS and 8mm tapes, and it's kind of incredible to think about how I can have a giant pile of tapes reduced to a single SD card. But also it's fun to find things like me playing piano at Nordstrom during the holidays. 160
Aaron Parecki @aaronpk.com · 24/11/2024Tonight was batch cooking night. Just made ~50 high-protein vegan waffles and then vacuum packed them. Five minutes in the air fryer is a nice quick breakfast later! 2150

Aaron Parecki @aaronpk.com · 30/05/2024So #Identiverse is using an AI tool to summarize all the conference talks and it works about as terribly as you'd imagine. Nowhere in my talk did I say "OAuth 3.0", nor did I say anything about global privacy regulation compliance. It straight up hallucinated quotes from me. 🤦♂️ 193
Aaron Parecki @aaronpk.com · 11/05/2024Woke up at midnight and went to the roof. Did not disappoint. 060

Aaron Parecki @aaronpk.com · 27/05/2023oh no. I just ordered all these knobs and dials to build a physical "chaos router" to be able to test various bad network conditions. It will basically be a physical control surface for tc-gui. Any bets on how long this will take to actually build? 100
Aaron Parecki @aaronpk.com · 08/05/2023The fun thing about 3D printing is being able to make custom mounts and brackets that are useful to approximately 3 people in the world. This is the old AppleTV remote with the remote for my Yamaha sound bar. 030
