I read it as the Iran war was the main part of the ad! With the closeted hypocrite part being the initial hook. I agree this could be viewed as a cheap shot, or worse, but in my view it’s part and parcel of what makes Graham a uniquely vile villain. Not his gayness, his hypocrisy.

Just found it! I don’t know, as a gay man myself, there is nothing more angering than the hypocrisy of “secretly gay” folks like Graham who have spent their life taking away my rights. His closetedness is unusually cartoonish. So I don’t see how shedding light on his hypocrisy is a bad thing 🤷🏻‍♂️
