And yes, this could mean big things for future seasons if it does well. So please search on Netflix and hit “remind me” — it helps the algorithm 🖤

Our show about 2nd chances gets exactly that. 8/24, all 10 episodes of REVIVAL drop on Netflix! We designed this series to be binged and now a massive Netflix audience can see it the way we always envisioned (and TV-MA to boot!)

Far and away, the best years of my life, including my career, have been since I turned 40. And w/ another birthday today, I know the best is *still* yet to come. Don’t let an age keep you from doing what you love, with people you love. You’re not late. You’re not behind. You have time. Use it 🖤

I have no idea what some filmmakers think they are doing these days. But I do have one word for the framing on this Netflix doc:

Lean in and buckle up because BONE TEMPLE is Metal AF. Nia DaCosta channeled 28 DAYS LATER's punk roots and infused it with a clenched demonic fist. Nia, you had my attention, now you have my fandom. This movie rules.

It is typically when our country is at its lowest or dire, when the best art is made, and this year in Film & Music illustrated that struggle beautifully. With that in mind, here is my 15th Annual Best of the Year Music Playlist on Spotify. One of my favorite years in Music in recent memory. Enjoy!

It's official. The internet has no idea what a "Plot Hole" actually is. The only hole your finding is in your logic, that same logic that leads to you thinking a new episode of STRANGER THINGS is coming. (I blame all this on Chat GPT)

I loathe dudes that are obsessed with how much money someone else makes or constantly speculate and talk down about what they think they make. They so openly and brazenly assign value to someone based on their earnings. These people suck, and they permeate the film industry.

My dream of making a TV Show, enabled my dream of working w/ David Seidman. And holy shit did he deliver! Death literally separating our sisters, as the weight of Em's murder sits on Dana's shoulders. Her search for justice, deteriorating in the process. But also a cool melting skull and shit 💀🫠

Being a filmmaker is such an up and down journey. So many ideas just devolve into fragmented pieces of your original sculpture. And while it’s true there is the “movie you write, movie you shoot & movie you make” What we ultimately made in #Revival Ep 6 is perhaps my favorite thing I’ve ever done 🖤
