I had that thought when I saw the post from the Sandfall CEO a few days ago, where in 2 sentences he says AI shouldn't be used for creative tasks, but also programming is completely ok to use it for because I guess he doesn't consider that creative at all.

Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 Director Explained Why He Doesn't Trust AI to Create Games

In the Video Game Club program, Sandfall Interactive head Guillaume Broche said that the studio does not use generative AI for creative work. According to him, the technology is suitable for individual administrative or programming tasks, but the creation of the world, characters, and plot should remain with humans.

Broche admitted that generating creative elements with AI "takes away the joy of creation." He also noted that the entire industry is thinking about a future when the capabilities of artificial intelligence will become significantly broader.

I've seen alot of games do a split flag for cases where there's more than one main country of a language, but I guess that doesn't solve the problems where one country doesn't recognise the existence of another. I suppose it depends which countries you're planning on localising for?

Right, but if you lie about using no AI for actual player-facing assets, then any player can do what happened to Expedition 33 and call it out. From what I can see Steams main concern is Players are aware if they're gonna see any AI Content in a game, since that's harder to conceal

Seems it detected the face, but it knows that it isn't a real camera. my first theory would be it's just pulling the Camera info and can see it clearly isn't a real camera, so next test is to see if I can spoof my real cameras info. Let me know if anyone else has any ideas. 🧵 3/?
