Liberals are against a public execution because it's public. I'm against a public execution because it's an execution.

coming from the land of "save the children" internet legislation to say that you can *hate speeding and also *think the give the government unlimited surveillance powers is a bad idea Like, things can be bad! That doesn't mean our only solution is mass surveillance.

If a clinic's policy is to bill you for cancelling an appointment less than 24 hours in advance, then they should also pay you if they do the same.

Mark, you support Israel, who commits genocide. Maybe you don't grasp the message of Star Wars either.

I love how the argument that copyright "protects artists" completely ignores the fact that doing anything in the courts requires thousands of dollars in legal fees, which basically gatekeeps the application of copyright law to those who can afford it, which usually means IP farms.

Bluesky isn't a liberal bubble. It's a liberal circlejerk.

Spotify decided to enshittify its API this month, which is forcing me to shut down the Daily Random playlist I've been running since 2015. The app randomly selects 30 songs daily to expose you to different types of music. open.spotify.com/playlist/6p2...

I wish more people would say what they mean, or at least be understanding of people who are not able to understand things that are unspoken or unwritten.

Influence does not equal theft. If AI-haters applied the same standard to all media that they do to AI-generated media, virtually all human expression would be "stolen."

"ICE needs more training." No, ICE needs to not exist. A well-trianed Gestapo is still the Gestapo. Abolish or GTFO.

neuro-sama has been getting a lot of attention from "normie" streamers lately, so people who are fans of her have, in participation of criticism, somehow deluded themselves into thinking that neuro is a) not an LLM chatbot, like chatgpt, and b) not trained on a massive amount of "stolen" data.

I've been using Suno Studio to make a bassline for a song I've been working on, and the results are sick. The tech still has a ways to go, but it is revolutionary, and I wish I'd had it 28 years ago.
