FINALLY got in touch with HR. I had to call from the school's phone in order for her to pick up! She said I "threw her off" because she thought it would be my manager and not me so she had been ignoring my calls! 🤬 But anyways... I start the new position in 2 weeks.

Got the call with the information for the new position. It's a little later so the kids would be back to their normal school schedule, which doesn't leave me time to substitute, but it cuts out the need for childcare and leaves me available to volunteer and help with my one kid who is struggling

Made it to Luray Caverns, the one Summer trip I was adamant about making with the kids. We didn't make it to a beach, but between rabid beavers and an abundance of jellyfish, we weren't too upset.
