I can literally feel the dread onset every time I come on social media. It's why I limit who I follow, the amount of platforms I use, etc. I have mostly happy things like art but still my chest gets noticably tight. That's why I'm not so active.

i dont think the price of commissions has anything to do with how much an artist "deserves", or even how much work goes into a piece -- isn't it supply and demand? if you charge $100 a sketch and your slots fill immediately, maybe you should be charging more. the luis vuitton of sketches

I get really upset that things aren't easier to fix. I had a perfectly good working faucet, except it dripped every 5-10 seconds. So I ask my dad how I can fix that without replacing it. And he's like okay well we can try to replace the cartridge. So we do, water starts leaking everywhere. 1/3

The Print-On-Demand/dropship route has made garment creation much more accessible to artists, which is great! But the quality and process leave a lot to be desired. Maybe don't tell artists who choose to invest in quality and craftsmanship that they should do something 'less' for your convenience.
